Pacey and Joey take New York! Dawson’s Creek alums Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes shocked everyone when they stepped out together at the gala screening of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary in New York City on April 14.
The exes, who are now close friends, dazzled on the red carpet as they walked arm in arm and posed for photos. Holmes looked radiant in a white shirt that draped over her shoulder, which she paired with a gray sequined skirt. Jackson was dapper in a red suit jacket and gray pants, along with a gray bow tie.
Holmes and Jackson shared a sweet moment on the carpet. When Jackson looked over Holmes, she couldn’t help but show off her gorgeous smile.
This reunion comes ahead of the 25th anniversary of a major Pacey and Joey episode of Dawson’s Creek: Season 4’s “Promicide.” The episode, which aired on May 2, 2001, featured the shocking breakup of the beloved TV couple. They eventually got back together for good — but not until the series finale in Season 6!

The former costars recently reunited to film the upcoming movie Happy Hours, which Holmes also wrote and directed. The project is intended to be a trilogy, but Holmes and Jackson have only filmed the first movie.
Back in March, Jackson gave an update on his highly anticipated film with Holmes. “Katie wrote this beautiful story for the two of us that is the three phases of a love story,” Jackson said on Today.
He added, “We shot the fun part, which is the falling in love, and she’s cutting it now, and hopefully it will give us the opportunity to go back and make the other two.”
Their April outing marked the first time the Dawson’s Creek stars have been seen publicly together since the death of costar James Van Der Beek in February. The 48-year-old died due to complications from colorectal cancer.
In September 2025, Holmes and Jackson, along with Michelle Williams, Busy Philipps, and more Dawson’s Creek cast members, reunited in New York for a live table read of the pilot. The charity event supported F Cancer. Van Der Beek had to miss the show in person due to illness, but Lin-Manuel Miranda filled in for him, and Van Der Beek’s wife and children were able to attend.
