If the romance in Megan Park‘s My Old Ass charmed you, just you wait. The director has another YA drama on the horizon, and this time, it’ll appear on the small screen. After production took place last year, Prime Video has revealed when Park’s Sterling Point will premiere on the platform.

What’s more, the announcement included a first look at the ensemble teen series, which promises “sibling secrets, first loves, found family, [and] hard choices.” Sign us up! “The series speaks to young audiences while tackling themes that we think will resonate with all age groups and we’re looking forward to bringing their creative vision to life for our global Prime Video customers,” said Vernon Sanders, Amazon MGM Studios’ head of television.

Who is in the Sterling Point cast?

Ella Rubin (The Idea of You) plays 17-year-old Annie Jacobson. Jay Duplass (Industry, The Chair) is her adoptive father, while her twin brother is Keen Ruffalo (Hal & Harper). Rounding out the rest of the cast are Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Talifeathers, and Missi Pyle.

Park is Sterling Point‘s director, co-showrunner, and executive producer. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage also executive produce for Fake Empire, as do Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley under LuckyChap.

What is Sterling Point about?

Described as a “heartfelt, coming-of-age drama” that covers topics like sisterhood, nature versus nurture, complicated family dynamics, and grief, Sterling Point is centered around Rubin’s Annie. She was raised in New York City with her twin brother and loving adoptive father, but her life changes when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. While she uncovers family secrets, Annie also finds new friends and romance.
