General Hospital stars Giovanni Mazza and Braedyn Bruner are enjoying all the exciting developments in Gio and Emma’s relationship. From Gemma’s first kiss to their first time, this Port Charles couple has had quite the love story so far.
In our first edition of Swooon’s Rising Supercouples, the actors agreed that Gio and Emma have what it takes to go the distance. They’re open to “whatever happens next,” but they do have some ideas of their own. And let’s just say that their vision for Gio and Emma will surprise you.
“Personally, for Emma, I would like to see her join the WSB [World Security Bureau], just to secretly destroy the WSB,” Bruner revealed. “I think it’s caused so much trouble and negativity, and not only in my life, but my family’s life. And I think that that would be such a fun thing to play. I think, together, I’d like to see us both do something dangerous, like go on some sort of dangerous adventure of some sort.”
Mazza was inspired by Bruner’s idea and continued to build on it. “I have an idea right now,” he said. “We’re building stories right now. Frank [Valentini], if you’re watching, please listen to this. Emma joins the WSB. I don’t know. I joined the mob. She doesn’t know. Then we’re both going after each other, Mr. and Mrs. Smith style. We don’t know that this is happening.”
He added, “And then all of a sudden, in combat, we see each other, and then we’re like, oh, dang, I’m I have an assignment to kill you. And she’s like, I do, too.”
Bruner then chimed in, “But we can’t do it.” Mazza echoed his costar, “And then we can’t do it.”
Could we see Gio and Emma take an action couple turn? Anything can happen in the world of Port Charles. If Gio and Emma’s love story is going to stand the test of time, they’re going to be thrown some soap-style curveballs.
