Ahead of Season 12, TLC introduced viewers to all seven brand-new couples starring in the flagship series, including Mallorie, who’s heading to Turkey to bring her fiancé Rasit back to the States. The network teased, “Tensions rise when Rasit asks Mallorie to help support his parents financially back home. When they finally discuss the future, including a prenup and starting a family, their different points of view result in their fairytale future slipping away.”

Who is Mallorie?
According to TLC, Mallorie is “a wild Southern force of nature.” At 29, Mallorie lives in Athens, Alabama. In the trailer for the season, Rasit and Mallorie arrive at her house to find a full USA-themed party, where she can later be seen using a beer can as a hair roller.
What is Mallorie’s job?
Based on Mallorie’s Facebook profile, she is a certified medical coder at the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee. This is an administrative healthcare position, which she’s held since 2023.
Who is Rasit?
Rasit is a 29-year-old from Marmaris, Turkey. While we don’t know too much about Rasit yet, TLC noted that “bringing Rasit home to [Mallorie’s] small rural hometown proves challenging, as he struggles to connect with Mallorie’s outspoken friends and navigate life as a foreigner.” In the preview below, Mallorie is thrilled that Rasit braided her hair.

What is Rasit’s job?
TLC described Rasit as “a dreamy boat captain.” However, his exact position is unclear. We’re sure we’ll learn more about his position in Turkey during the premiere on Sunday.
How did Mallorie and Rasit meet?
Mallorie has revealed that she met Rasit during a girls’ trip to Greece. During the preview for the season, viewers can see Rasit proposing to Mallorie on a stony stairwell. Both Mallorie and Rasit follow each other on social media, but neither has posted about their relationship.
