When Calls the Heart couple Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum celebrated Mother’s Day in a whole new way this year. The Hallmark stars have been gearing up for the arrival of their first child after announcing they were expecting in November 2025.
On Mother’s Day, the pair gave fans a bit of an update. Over the last month, Krakow and Rosenbaum have been quiet on social media as they’ve prepared for their baby. On their first Mother’s Day as a married couple, they posted for the first time since March 29.
Krakow and Rosenbaum shared a black-and-white photo from a pregnancy photo shoot in a joint Instagram post. They sweetly cradled Krakow’s baby bump as they stood in a field together. Krakow had the most joyous smile on her face as Rosenbaum gave her a kiss.
On the same day, their costars and close friends, Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace, announced the birth of their first child. They shared a photo of themselves holding their baby’s hand. “Mother. The newest part of me that became the best part of me the second we met. Motherhood has been the greatest joy of my life. Happy Mother’s Day,” Wallace captioned her Instagram post.
Fellow costar Chris McNally is also expecting his second child with wife Julie Gonzalo. Back in December 2025, Swooon asked Krakow about so many When Calls the Heart stars having babies so close together.
“We are so excited,” Krakow said. “We’re very close friends, and so the fact that we’re all going to have babies around the same age, I mean, within six weeks, I think, of each other, it’s just the most delightful surprise.”
Later this year, Krakow and Rosenbaum will head back to the When Calls the Heart set to begin filming Season 14 of the hit Hallmark series — with a new Heartie with them!
