When Is Reba McEntire & Rex Linn’s Wedding? Everything We Know So Far
It’s been nearly a year since Reba McEntire and Rex Linn’s engagement was confirmed at the 2025 Emmys in September. After the couple, who started dating in 2020, went public with the relationship milestone, it was revealed that Linn had actually proposed months earlier in December 2024.
McEntire has already been married twice before (first to Charlie Battles and then to Narvel Blackstock) and previously told E! that she didn’t “have much faith in being bound by a piece of paper or ring.” However, she noted, “[Rex] has never been married before, so if he wants to experience that, I’m OK with that.”
Now, the two are planning their wedding, and McEntire recently gave an exciting update. Scroll down for everything we know.
When is Reba McEntire and Rex Linn’s wedding?
Right now, McEntire and Linn don’t seem to have a wedding date on the books.
“[The plans] are kind of being pushed every time Rex gets a job because he always says work comes first,” the country singer singer recently told Extra. “Heck, we might be engaged 30 years before we ever get married, but we’re OK with that, too.”
In a separate interview with the outlet, Linn added, “We’re just enjoying our engagement right now, and I’m having a blast. I’ve never been married, so if I have to wait another year, who cares?”
Where is Reba McEntire and Rex Linn’s wedding taking place?
Whenever the nuptials do take place, the duo doesn’t have to worry about making sure a venue is available … because the big day will take place on their ranch in Tennessee, Linn said in his interview with Extra.
The ranch is located in Lebanon, Tennessee, just over 30 miles outside of Nashville.
How many guests will attend Reba McEntire and Rex Linn’s wedding?
The exact guest list remains to be seen, but McEntire teased that it will be “low-key” with “lots of friends and family.” Specifically, she said that the affair will be somewhere “in between” a “big celebration” and “quiet, quaint celebration.”
One non-negotiable is that animals will definitely be in attendance. “We’re going to have to have dogs there,” Reba confirmed. “I have two grand-dogs, Watson and Belle, so they may be the ring bearers, or something like that. We have to have our animals in there. We’ve got longhorns, donkeys, horses, and everything. Cats. We have a lot of fun with them.”
Linn shared a similar sentiment with Extra. “We’re going to have all our animals there. I don’t think it will be too big,” he admitted. “We might have a small wedding and then possibly have a big party.”
