Is Ella Langley in a Relationship? Her ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Ex & More
Ella Langley had a massive night at the Academy of Country Music Awards on May 17. In addition to taking home five awards, including Female Artist of the Year, she also performed at the show.
Over the past two years, Langley has taken country music by storm, first with her 2024 single “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green, and more recently with her No. 1 hit “Choosin’ Texas” and sophomore album Dandelion.
Langley’s name is the one on everyone’s lips these days, which has many wondering about her relationship status. Scroll down for everything we know.
Is Ella Langley in a relationship?
Langley is mostly private about her personal life. While she is not publicly dating anyone (and revealed in a February TikTok comment that she was single), she’s recently been linked to fellow country singer Tucker Wetmore.
The rumors started in December 2025 when the two were on vacation in the British Virgin Islands together (albeit with a large group of friends). Fans have since noticed them leaving each other comments on social media posts.
Wetmore previously dated influencer Bryana Ferringer, who attended the 2025 CMA Awards with Green, Langley’s rumored ex (more on that below). However, Green later referred to Ferringer as a “friend.”
In March 2026, Wetmore released the song “Sunburn,” which many fans believe is about his getaway with Langley. The lyrics of the song make it seem like the fling was a vacation romance that ran its course, with Wetmore singing, “It’s like we had our own island, my heart felt like it was flying, I couldn’t tell you goodbye yet, wish I could go back and dive in.”
Which Farmer Wants a Wife star did Ella Langley date?
Langley dated Season 3 farmer John Sansone. Fans began speculating about the relationship when the two posted similar photos in their respective Thanksgiving Instagram dumps. However, the romance was not confirmed until April when Sansone told Taste of Country, “We dated for a couple months.”
The relationship began after Sansone slid into Langley’s DMs, although he could not recall exactly what he said in his first message.
Prior to his relationship with Langley, Sansone dated his Farmer Wants a Wife winner, Claire Dirette, for more than a year. They split in August 2025. “This was a mutual decision based on private challenges, and had nothing to do with any reposts,” John shared at the time. “While I’ll always appreciate and respect the time we shared together, I feel it’s best to move forward separately. While our relationship was public, I wish for this chapter to remain as private as possible.”

Langley and Green’s duet blew up in 2024, leading to much speculation that they were a couple as they performed it on tour, at awards shows, and more. However, the two have always maintained that they are just friends.

“[We’re] just friends,” she said in September 2024. Three months later, Green added, “Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway. When we first started having success with that song, I kinda told Ella, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of things said, but I mean you don’t really gotta play into it or not play into it.’”
Needless to say, many fans are not buying it, but we’ll have to take their word for it!
