HGTV star Leslie Davis is embracing her love story with Don Reidy. The Unsellable Houses star announced her surprise engagement to the carpenter in January, and she’s been giving a peek inside her romance over the last few months.
On May 22, Davis gave some rare insight into her fiancé. She opened up about the way he shows her love, and it’s truly one of a kind — but not if you’re an HGTV fan!
“My love language is the sound of his saw on a Saturday morning,” Davis captioned an Instagram video featuring Reidy hard at work. The footage featured Reidy putting up wallpaper, painting, riding a tractor, shoveling dirt, and working in his carpentry studio. She also added the popular Raye track “WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!”
Davis and Reidy haven’t shared any details about their wedding plans, but it’s clear that the HGTV star already sees Reidy as her husband. The couple, who first met in Rock the Block Season 5, got engaged earlier this year after Reidy popped the question “during a snowy Leavenworth snowmobile ride.”

“Turns out Rock the Block gave me a win in more than one way. Somewhere between sunup-to-sundown chaos and lots of laughs, I found my person. Don, you are my safe place, my teammate, and my favorite adventure buddy,” she wrote on Instagram.
Davis added, “What started as a friendship during one of the wildest experiences of my life turned into true love. We were in it together then… and now we’re in it together forever. Still smiling. Still shocked. Still so excited for this next chapter.”
The engagement came as a surprise to HGTV fans because Davis hadn’t yet publicly discussed her divorce from her ex-husband, Jacob, with whom she shares two sons.
Two days after announcing her engagement, Davis addressed her major life update in a blog post and revealed that she’d been divorced since 2022. “Jacob and I will always share love for each other, just now in a new way, we have learned to become the best teammates, to lean on each other, to support each other’s new adventures, and always put our boys first,” she wrote.
