MTV fans were introduced to Edwards via his relationship with Maci Bookout on 16 & Pregnant. The exes share a son, Bentley, and their ups and downs were documented on Teen Mom OG for years. Amid Edwards’ relationship with Conner, Edwards and Bookout finally got to an amicable place, even spending holidays together as a blended family.

Are Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner still together?
The status of Edwards and Conner’s relationship is not entirely clear at the moment. The day after her May 24 arrest, they were spotted at a gas station together, and The Ashley reported that he may have bailed her out of jail, despite being the one to call police on her in the first place.
However, on the morning of May 25, Conner reportedly called the cops on her husband, stating that she wanted to get her belongings from him and alleging that he has a “history of physical abuse” towards her. The Ashley obtained audio of the 911 call and confirmed that police were called to Edwards and Conner’s address.
Edwards cryptically posted on Facebook after Conners’ arrest, “I will NOT be answering any questions. Please keep us in your prayers.” Per The Ashley, he also responded to a commenter, “All I’ll say is this might be my karma.”
Why was Amanda Conner arrested?
Edwards called the police on May 24 after Conner drove off with their 14-month-old daughter in the car. He told the 911 operator he believed his wife was “under the influence of narcotics” because she refused to take an over-the-counter drug test, according to TMZ.
Conner was charged with DUI, child abuse/neglect, and driving on the wrong side of the road, according to court records obtained by E! News. She was released on bail and ordered to wear an ankle monitor while awaiting her court hearing on June 3.
Three days after the arrest, Conner took to TikTok to reveal that she had relapsed after three years of sobriety. “I f**ked up, and I relapsed,” she said. “After three years of me busting my ass and getting my life together, I relapsed. I think I got too comfortable, let my guard down, and it happened.”

She promised to take fans on her journey to recovery, adding, “It’s not going to be fun. It’s not going to be pretty. It’s just going to be real, it’s going to be raw, and it’s going to be hard. But I’m a fighter, and I refuse to let relapse define me or be my story.”
How did Ryan Edwards and Amanda Conner meet?
Conner and Edwards met in rehab in 2023. After dealing with his own legal troubles, Edwards was in court-ordered treatment when he met his future wife. Coincidentally, Conner and Bookout went to the same alternative high school while Bookout was pregnant with her and Edwards’ child as a teenager.
Edwards proposed to Conner in January 2025 while she was pregnant with their child. They got married that September, weeks after he finalized his divorce from Mackenzie Standifer.

Edwards is a dad to four children. He shares Bentley with Bookout and daughter Presley with Conner, as well as son Jagger and daughter Stella with Standifer. Edwards is also the stepfather to Conner’s son from a previous relationship.
