In August, Ashley Iaconetti Haibon and Jared Haibon will celebrate their seven-year wedding anniversary. The couple met on Bachelor in Paradise, became close friends, and then eventually started dating in 2018.
Building the relationship on the foundation of a friendship proved to work for the couple, and Ashley told Swooon what her favorite part about being married to Jared is nearly a decade in.
“My favorite part of our relationship is just the comfortability and the understanding,” she shared. “We just get each other very well. It’s our seventh anniversary. It’s great. I love it. I want to be able to celebrate very romantically. That’s one thing that kids definitely does change – the alone time, the quality time. That’s what we need more of, for sure. But we’re having a good time. The nice thing about having met on TV and doing this on TV already is that [The Real Housewives of Rhode Island] doesn’t feel much different for us.”
Ashley also admitted that she, Jared, and their two sons don’t have any major summer plans, as she’s leaving the door open to potentially film Season 2 of RHORI. (The Season 2 cast has not been confirmed yet.) Meanwhile, the couple’s restaurant, Audrey’s, is doing better than ever since the show started airing, but that comes with some drawbacks.
“The place has been so busy since the airing of the show, which has been amazing,” Ashley dished. “But our whole objective during the season was trying to get him away and trying to get him to do something that maybe makes him more happy. So now he’s finding himself there more and more. It’s always a complication.”
