All About ‘Silo’ & ‘Downton Abbey’ Star Jessica Brown Findlay’s Husband & Family
What To Know
- Jessica Brown Findlay, known for Downton Abbey, stars as Charlotte Keene in Season 3 of the Apple TV sci-fi series Silo.
- She married a fellow actor during the 2020 pandemic after meeting on the set.
- Findlay has been open about her fertility journey.
Downton Abbey alum Jessica Brown Findlay has traded period dramas for sci-fi, stepping into the world of Silo. In Season 3 of the Apple TV series, the 38-year-old portrays a major new character in the show’s timeline, Charlotte Keene, who is sent on a military mission in the show’s pre-apocalypse timeline.
Needless to say, Findlay’s new role isn’t of the romance variety like Downton Abbey, but the Lady Sybil Crawley actress’ return to the spotlight did have us wondering about her love life off-screen. While Season 3 is underway, Swooon has all the details on Findlay’s husband — who’s also an actor — and family below.
Who is Jessica Brown Findlay’s husband?
Findlay is married to 35-year-old actor Ziggy Heath. He’s appeared in the historical drama TV series A Thousand Blows, BBC’s adaptation of The Miniaturist, and more. In 2017, he met his future wife while playing Sam Holland in the British period drama series Harlots.
They married in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and she told The Guardian it was the happiest day of her life so far. “It was wonderful — low-key and micro,” Findlay told The Times. “After a lockdown, 30 people felt huge. I wouldn’t change anything about it.”
Five years later, she shared several shots from the big day on Instagram, celebrating her love for her husband. “I can highly recommend marrying the kindest funniest person you know,” she wrote in the caption.

Does Jessica Brown Findlay have kids?
Jessica and her husband had twin sons through IVF in November 2022. That same year, the actress opened up about their fertility struggles.
“It was a lot to go through as a couple, but it was a loving and generous time,” she told You magazine. “We couldn’t control everything about the process, but we did have it in our power to keep talking to each other and have empathy for each other. It revealed a lot to me about the person I am, the person I am married to, and how you can find so much joy still in being yourselves and making the most of every day, how life has value even if there isn’t a child.”

She also shared on social media that she’d undergone four rounds of fertility treatment. “IVF has made me even more aware of just how much women are capable of and what we can achieve whilst going through pain and heartbreak,” Findlay wrote. “Your body is not the enemy. Love it. No matter what. Sending love and support to every woman I have ever met and all the ones I haven’t but know what this is.”
