Antonoff and Qualley met in summer 2021 (“just as COVID was ending,” she revealed) at a rooftop party at Electric Lady Studios in New York City.
“We saw each other on a roof, and we just started talking and never stopped,” the actress told Cosmopolitan. “We went on a series of walks throughout the city that summer.”
Qualley’s sister, Rainey, helped facilitate the meeting. She was recording music at the studio and knew Antonoff was looking for a forever partner. “So when there was a small party on the roof, and I had a bit too much to drink, I proceeded to tell Jack that he needed to date my sister!” she dished.
