Fans of 90 Day Fiancé first got to know Veah on Season 7 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, when she traveled to South Africa to meet her boyfriend, Sunny Mahdi, for the first time IRL. During that time, Sunny proposed to her. However, the two split before the Tell All, which was filmed in October 2024. While her relationship status was not the focus of the Tell All, it came out after the fact that she had gotten married to someone else who was mentioned on the season just one month prior, in September 2025.

Veah is a 90 Day Fiancé star who appeared on Season 7 of Before the 90 Days. During the season, she caught many fans’ attention when she revealed that she had grown up in foster care and later in a religious cult. Who is Veah’s husband?

Veah is married to David Chairez, who famously served as her dog sitter while she was traveling for the series. Outside of dog-sitting, David works part-time in the military and as a policeman.

On April 24, Veah wrote a sweet post for her husband’s birthday, giving her followers more insight into how they started dating. She shared, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THIS WONDERFUL MAN @david_chairez_17 / Who knew that Disney date would turn into this life… You’re the calm, the kindness, and the love I get to come home to every day. I don’t post much of us… but I live with so much gratitude for the life we’ve built together / I never knew that when I surrendered my life to God He could and would make it this beautiful.”

Is Veah pregnant?

On May 26, Veah revealed that she and David are expecting a baby. She told People, “I wasn’t expecting to become pregnant, so it was definitely a shock, but such a good one. We’re so grateful and so excited to become parents.” Posting a picture of her baby bump, Veah wrote, “Grateful for every chapter that led me here. The good days, the hard days, and all the days in between. A few bump pics because this little miracle still doesn’t feel real sometimes.”

Why did Veah get sick?

Following Season 7 of Before the 90 Days, Veah revealed that she had a brain tumor while filming and didn’t tell production. According to Veah, she still does not know what caused her illness. She shared, “It’s almost been a year since God healed me from an unknown sickness that left me in and out of hospitals literally fighting for my life. Test after test, doctors couldn’t figure it out. Looking back now, I know it was spiritual. I was 80 pounds. Doctors had to perform life-saving measures on me. I couldn’t walk, talk, or even swallow my own spit. I remember praying and asking God, ‘If miracles are real, show me.’ Months later, after being prayed over the night before, I woke up completely healed.”

According to Veah, David was by her side the entire time. She explained, “Less than a year ago I was bedridden sick, and David was my full time caregiver while working and going to school. Being that sick has made even the small moments feel like miracles / I’ll never stop being grateful for my health back and for a man who truly meant in sickness and in health.”
