Jake is a longtime friend of the McBee family and runs the cattle operation on their farm. He grew up in Missouri to a “first-generation farmer” and is friends with the McBees outside of work, as well.
Tegan, who turned 26 in May 2026, is a real estate agent licensed in Missouri and Kansas. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in 2022, per LinkedIn.

How long have Jake Denton and Tegan Bruce been together?
It’s unclear exactly when Jake and Tegan started dating, but they’ve been together since at least 2018, as that’s when he posted his first Instagram with her.
When did Jake Denton and Tegan Bruce get engaged?
Jake and Tegan got engaged in April 2026. She announced the news with an Instagram post showing off her engagement ring, captioned, “Past, present, FUTURE… I know you’re the one.”

Tegan also put her ring on display in a TikTok video one day later as she mouthed Post Malone‘s lyrics, “I was patient. Now I can scream that we made it.”
In May, the couple posed for engagement photos, and in July, Tegan had a brunch to ask her bridesmaids to stand by her side on her big day. The pair’s wedding date is unknown.
