‘The Challenge’: Are Adrienne & Josh Still Together After Season 42 Showmance?
Sparks are flying between Adrienne Naylor and Josh Goldy on Season 42 of The Challenge. The two shared their first kiss during Episode 3, but it didn’t take long for drama to unfold when Adrienne saw him seemingly canoodling with Nurys Mateo the next night.

Are Adrienne Naylor and Josh Goldy still together?
No, Adrienne and Josh don’t seem to be together any longer. After the drama with Nurys aired, Adrienne took to social media to explain the situation, and she hinted that she was lied to by Josh during filming.
Adrienne revealed that she saw Nurys crying on the bus one day and said Josh told her it was “probably” about him because he had met Nurys before filming. He theorized that she was upset that he was getting to know Adrienne in the house, despite allegedly exchanging numbers with Nurys when they met.

According to Adrienne, there was a one-on-one conversation between her and Nurys where Nurys said Josh’s explanation was “strange” because she was not crying over him. The two women apologized to each other and Adrienne insisted that her “beef” is with Josh, not Nurys. Adrienne also revealed that Leo Dionicio told her Josh likes to purposely make women jealous to get a reaction out of them.
Plus, with Adrienne living in the U.K. and Josh in Florida, a continued romance between the two is unlikely.
What show is Adrienne Naylor from?
Adrienne hails from Season 8 of Married at First Sight UK, which aired in 2023. During final vows, Adrienne and Matt Pilmoor agreed to stay together and give their relationship a real shot. However, by the reunion, they had split.
One thing the pair disagreed on was having kids. Matt wanted them, while Adrienne didn’t. She said the breakup was mutual, which is why she was surprised by how Matt treated her at the reunion.
“In the reunion there was a lot of negativity around the way that we finished, but we ended things mutually, which is what I was so confused about,” Adrienne told Cosmopolitan. “And then at the reunion it was like ‘I’m going to blame you for all of this’ and I was like, ‘Whoa. We ended this mutually’, like what? I was so confused.”
Matt is now in a relationship with Shona Manderson, another cast member from his season of MAFS.
What show is Josh Goldy from?
Josh was on Season 3 of Love Island USA in 2021. He coupled up with Shannon St. Clair, but they left the show on Day 31/40 when Josh found out his sister died unexpectedly.
Josh and Shannon stayed together for about a year before initially splitting in June 2022. “We love this life we’ve built together, but sometimes timing is everything,” the pair said in a joint statement at the time. “We will always love and care for one another and remain friends, but unfortunately at this time we’ve made the decision to go our separate ways. There is no bad blood between us, the people closest to us know we rarely had arguments. We are literally best friends, so we both want to see each other succeed and be happy, always.”
Although they reconciled a few months later, they eventually split again. During a December 2023 Instagram Q&A, Josh was asked if he and Shannon were still together, and he replied, “The mili $ question. I’ll let y’all use common sense on this one. NO. All love tho, we still friends.”
Josh was on Season 2 of Love Island Games in 2025, but was sent home on Day 14.
