‘Driven’: All About the Steamy Passionflix Series Racing Onto Netflix

What is Driven about?
Guarded, independent social worker Rylee Thomas finds herself unexpectedly falling for professional race car driver Colton Donavan in Driven. While healing from past trauma, Rylee runs a non-profit organization dedicated to helping orphaned boys. At a charity auction, she meets the hot and reckless Colton, who has damage of his own. Though they have chemistry, Rylee surprises Colton by being difficult to win over.
Is Driven based on a book?
Like most Passionflix offerings, Driven is based on a book series. K. Bromberg’s Driven came out in 2013, followed by Fueled, Crashed, novella Raced, and Aced.
There are also standalone books based on different couples in the same universe: Slow Burn, Sweet Ache, Hard Beat, and Down Shift.
Who is in the Driven cast?
Rylee is played by Olivia Applegate. She’s known for appearing in Passionflix’s The Black Dagger Brotherhood as Season 1 lead Beth Randall. She’s also had roles in HBO’s Love & Death and Euphoria.
Casey Deidrick plays Colton in Season 1. He’s best known for playing Chad DiMera in Days of Our Lives and Max in The CW’s In the Dark.
Beauty and the Beast actor Michael Roark, who is also a licensed attorney, took over the role of Colton in Seasons 2 and 3. Like Applegate, Roark also appears in The Black Dagger Brotherhood.
Why was Colton recast in Driven Season 2?
Deidrick left the Passionflix production to film In The Dark. He had a main role in The CW series until it ended with Season 4.
Will there be a Driven Season 4?
Don’t race through Driven‘s three seasons too quickly — another season isn’t coming. Per the author, Season 3 concludes Rylee and Colton’s journey.
