While plenty of players have caught our eye during the 2026 FIFA World Cup — and not just because of their skills — so have the men serving looks on the sidelines. We’re talking about the coaches, aka the men in charge. What can we say? We love a man in a position of authority.
Since we already determined the 15 hottest players in the tournament, we thought it was only fair that we show love for coaches (potentially) leading them to victory. We aren’t the only ones noticing the coaches’ good looks, either. Plenty of fan edits have crossed our social media feeds, and we are not mad about it.
While we wait for the final match on July 19, you can consult Swooon‘s nifty list below to curate your viewing experience based on the coaching eye candy. Scroll to find out which coaches made the cut.

Sébastien Desabre (Democratic Republic of the Congo)
We’ve got a fair amount of silver foxes on our list, including Democratic Republic of the Congo head coach Sébastien Desabre. Not to mention, he got his team to the World Cup for the first time in our 50 years. Being good at your job is hot, too!

Hervé Renard (Tunisia)
On TikTok, people are comparing Tunisia head coach Hervé Renard to Jaime Lannister from Game of Thrones, and we totally see it. Unfortunately, Renard’s team was eliminated in the group stage, so we won’t get to see him on our screens again. But we couldn’t not include him. Obviously.

Pape Thiaw (Senegal)
Head coach Pape Thiaw is leading the Senegal team into a must-win match against Iraq on June 26. Hopefully, we get plenty of shots of Thiaw on the sidelines. Do us a favor, camera operator!

Jesse Marsch (Canada)
Canada head coach Jesse Marsch went viral for his dance celebrations during the tournament. His confidence is working for us.

Fabio Cannavaro (Uzbekistan)
Fabio Cannavaro was hot when he was a hotshot defender in the ’90s, so it comes as no surprise that he’s aging like fine wine. We’ll root for Uzbekistan just so he stays on our screens longer.

Graham Potter (Sweden)
A few years ago, Graham Potter famously got a glow-up when he signed on to work for Chelsea. That glow-up is obviously still in effect now that he’s trying to lead Sweden to the 2026 World Cup.

Murat Yakin (Switzerland)
When Switzerland head coach Murat Yakin was asked about the internet deeming him a sex symbol, he had a humble response. That only makes him hotter. Plus, just look at him wearing glasses. You’re welcome.

Emerse Faé (Ivory Coast)
It’s a good time to be head coach Emerse Faé. Côte d’Ivoire is making history as it advances to the knockout stage for the first time ever. Faé is winning in the looks department too, clearly.

Tony Popovic (Australia)
Tony Popovic, Australia’s head coach, knows how to work the field and a suit, as you can see in the photo above. That commanding aura and the Aussie accent? That’s enough to have us tuning in to Australia’s games.
