Status: Split

Iris and Pepe were one of the newer pairings going into the finale, getting together during the last week of the season. Still, the fourth place couple decided to stay together, though they didn’t make things official. Iris and Pepe agreed to meet up once the show was over.

“I get to hang out with you now back home,” Pepe told Iris on their final date in Episode 36. “I’m glad you’re from L.A. It does make it a lot easier, I think, to just see where things go from there.”

In the reunion episode, which was filmed on August 12, Iris and Pepe confirmed that their romance was still going strong. They did mention that they were divided on if they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Pepe wanted to label it, but Iris thought they should date for a while before that happens.

Since the reunion was filmed, however, Iris and Pepe called it quits. They unfollowed each other on Instagram, and on August 28, they confirmed in separate statements that they were no longer together. They haven’t revealed the cause yet.

Status: Split

After Amaya had some trouble finding a solid connection in the villa, things started looking up when she coupled up with Bryan in Episode 30. From there, it was smooth sailing, and they went on to win the whole thing.

Not only were Amaya and Bryan still dating by the end of Season 7, but they also made their relationship exclusive in the finale. They spent the first few weeks out of the villa appearing in each other’s social media posts and making public appearances together.

At the reunion, which was filmed on August 12, Amaya assured fans that they were still in a good place. Weeks later, however, things have changed.

“Bryan and I are no longer together,” Amaya wrote on her Instagram Story on August 27. “After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys. Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty.”

Huda Mustafa & Chris Seeley

Status: Split

In a series first, one couple broke things off in the finale episode. Chris and Huda had never made their relationship official, and their Season 7 journey wasn’t exactly trouble-free. They got together immediately following the Casa Amor episodes. Shortly after, the third place couple started butting heads about PDA.

Though Chris told Huda he thought they could try things in the real world during their final date, they began to argue. Ultimately, they couldn’t reconcile their differences. Huda told her then-partner that they should just be friends.

Chris, however, revealed during the reunion that he doesn’t think friendship is in the cards after Huda spoke negatively about him in the press.

Olandria Carthen & Nic Vansteenberghe

Status: Still Together

Nic and Olandria’s time together on Love Island USA was a roller coaster. For one, they were both on the verge of being dumped before being saved by producers in Episode 21. The only catch? They had to couple up with each other. They ended up in the friend zone, but once Nic’s former partner Cierra Ortega unexpectedly left the show, Olandria partnered up with him again in Episode 30.

The couple saw the season through to the end, landing in second place. During the finale, both Nic and Olandria spoke about seeing each other in the real world, and they’ve followed through on that in the month or so since it aired.

During the reunion, Nic and Olandria revealed that they still haven’t put a label on their relationship or made it exclusive, but they’re seeing where their connection goes. They also said they have future dates planned, so keep an eye on their socials!

Status: Still Together

They didn’t make it to the finale, but Ace and Chelley were one of the few couples to become exclusive during the show. They left the villa together in Episode 34. In the days since, they’ve confirmed that they’re still dating post-elimination.

“I’m excited to grow our relationship and improve our communication, especially since she’s in Florida,” Ace told Variety in a July 11 article. “I’m in L.A., but she’s looking to move to L.A., and we’ll go from there.”

At the reunion, Ace and Chelley confirmed they’re still dating. In fact, Ace even confessed that he’s in love with Chelley!

Clarke Carraway, Taylor Williams in LOVE ISLAND USA --
Kim Nunneley / Peacock

Taylor Williams & Clarke Carraway

Status: Still Together

The only other official couple to be sent packing was Taylor and Clarke. They got together in Episode 19, shortly after Clarke’s Casa Amor entrance. Taylor asked Clarke to be exclusive during Episode 32, but they were voted off the island in the same episode.

However, their relationship status still stands post-show. “We’re still the same as we were in the villa,” Taylor told Today in a July 11 interview.

As of the reunion, that still holds true. Taylor and Clarke even visited each other’s families and hometowns before they reunited with the rest of the cast!
