‘Love on the Spectrum’ Season 5 Cast: Who Is & Isn’t Coming Back?

Between seasons, Love on the Spectrum tends to see many cast changes. Now that Season 5 is officially on its way, Swooon‘s taking a deep dive into who is and isn’t coming back amongst the cast.

During Season 4 of Love on the Spectrum, fans got to know franchise newbies Logan Pereira, Dylan Aguilar, and Emma Miller as they went on dates with potential partners, including Hailey Kocvara and Eric Casper. They were joined by returning favorites Connor Tomlinson and Georgie Harris, who broke up at the end of the season, James B. Jones and Shelley Wolfe, who moved in together, and Madison Marilla and Tyler White, who got engaged ahead of the finale.

While there’s been lots of love for the Season 4 cast since the newest installment aired on April 1, a day before World Autism Day 2026, fans were surprised to see that beloved cast members from Season 3 would not be returning as main cast members. This included Tanner Smith, Dani Bowman, Pari Kim, and Abbey Romeo, who split from her longtime boyfriend, David Isaacman, after the season aired. That said, all four made an appearance at Madison and Tyler’s engagement party in the finale, so it’s clear these stars may have left the door open on returning to the series.

Below, we’re breaking down the latest updates on what all the fan favorite Love on the Spectrum cast members from Seasons 3 and 4 have said about returning to the series, including who’s officially exiting.

Tyler & Madison

At this time, Tyler and Madison have not confirmed whether they’ll return as an engaged (or newlywed) couple for Season 5. However, they did tell Swooon that they hope to return for more seasons on the show. When it comes to getting married on-camera, they shared, “Well, we don’t know yet!”

Logan

After joining the cast during Season 4, Logan has immediately skyrocketed to fan-favorite status, alongside his now-ex, Hailey. While he has not revealed whether he wants to return for Season 5 or not, based on the fan response alone, we’d guess he’s definitely going to get asked back.

Hailey

While things didn’t pan out for Hailey and Logan, the featured cast member has gained a major following after her stint on the season. Generally, we don’t see dates of main cast members return unless they’re still in a relationship, but given Hailey’s unprecedented popularity, we wouldn’t be surprised if the series continues to follow her love life as well.

Dylan

When Dylan sat down with Swooon, he revealed that he has yet to receive a call about returning to the series, but he is more than willing to come back. He explained, “Everyone keeps saying that I should do the show again! If they ask me, I’ll say, ‘Okay, I’ll do it!'”

James & Shelley

James and Shelley are still going strong after Season 4, so they could definitely return for another relationship update. While the couple has not officially announced that they want to return, they are incredibly active both in public and on social media, so we’d be surprised if they declined.

Connor

After his breakup during Season 4, Connor told Swooon that he will not be returning to the show. He explained, “I’m going to be honest. I think I’m going to let someone else take the limelight. I feel like the world knows my story. The world’s gotten to know me, and it’s done me wonders. But I think it’s time to pass the torch.”

Georgie from episode 405 of Love on the Spectrum

Georgie

Now that Georgie and Connor have split, she is in a new relationship with her boyfriend, Luke. Since Luke is not from the franchise, it is unlikely that the two will return as main cast members, similar to Dani, who met her boyfriend off-camera after Season 3.

Emma Miller of Love on the Spectrum
Netflix

Emma

While Emma didn’t find a lasting connection in Season 4, she told Swooon that she would love to return for another season. She explained that she is looking to “find what works for me and what doesn’t work for me” in the dating world.

Tanner Smith Love on the Spectrum
Netflix

Tanner

Much like Connor, Tanner has decided to pass the torch. After Season 4, in which he was not a main cast member, Tanner posted a video clarifying that he left the show because he is not looking to date right now. He revealed, “I figured out that I want to travel, that I have big dreams, and I’m not ready to be somebody’s boyfriend.”

Pari and Tina on Love on the Spectrum
Netflix

Pari & Tina

After meeting during Season 3, Pari and Tina were not brought back as main cast members for the fourth season. That said, fans have been eager to find out more about the couple and have consistently argued that the two should be featured more. After an adorable deleted scene from Tyler and Madison’s engagement party, it’s clear the duo would be happy to return if given the chance.

Netflix

Abbey

While Abbey and her longtime boyfriend, David, were not main cast members during Season 4, their post-season breakup made major news. Season 5 could be the first time we see Abbey dating anyone but David on the series. At this time, she has not revealed whether she would return as a main cast member.

David

After his unexpected split from Abbey, David could also return as a dater in Season 5. However, they’re more likely to bring back Abbey, as she has been a main cast member for more seasons. Only time will tell!

Dani and Henry from episode 407 of Love on the Spectrum.
Netflix

Dani

Now that Dani has found love off-camera with her boyfriend, Henry, it’s unlikely that she will return as a main cast member in the future. That said, both she and Henry are open to making guest appearances as they did at Madison and Tyler’s engagement party.
