The Boroughs is the newest series to reach the top of the Netflix charts in just a few days since its May 21 release. The sci-fi thriller, produced by Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer, follows the residents of The Boroughs, a seemingly serene retirement community.
When Sam Cooper (Alfred Molina) arrives, he has a scary nighttime experience that forces him to team up with fellow community misfits to find answers to this terrifying mystery. Alfred Molina
Alfred Molina, who plays Sam Cooper, has been married to Jennifer Lee since 2021. They met while working on Frozen 2. He voiced King Agnarr, and she wrote and codirected the sequel.
The actor was previously married to Jill Gascoine from 1986 until her death from Alzheimer’s disease in 2020. He has a daughter, Rachel, from a previous relationship.
Alfre Woodard
Alfre Woodard, who stars as Judy Daniels in the Netflix series, has been happily married to producer Roderick Spencer since 1983. They have two children: Mavis and Duncan. In 2024, Woodard reflected on her decades-long marriage. “It’s constant discovery and renegotiating and continuing to fall in love,” she told People.
Bill Pullman
Bill Pullman, who steps into the role of Jack Willard in The Boroughs, has been married to Tamara Hurwitz since 1987. The couple met while they were studying at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. They have three children: Lewis, Maesa, and Jack.
Jena Malone
Jena Malone stars as Claire Cooper in The Boroughs. In addition to her newest show, Malone recently got engaged to Jack Buckley. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire alum announced her engagement on February 11.
“My soulmate asked me to marry him. First , he asked those who have protected and cared for my heart for so long. Both of my Moms , my Sister, my Son … and with every lifetime, every moment I have in front of me I said yes. @jacktbuckley I love you forever!!!” she wrote on Instagram.
Malone has a son with her former partner, Ethan DeLorenzo.
Clarke Peters
Clarke Peters, who plays Art Daniels in the Netflix sci-fi series, is married to Penny Ephson. They have a son together. He was previously married to Janine Martyne, with whom he has two children, China and Peter. His past relationship with Joanna Jacobs. They have two kids: actor Joe Jacobs and Guppy, who died in 1992.
Denis O'Hare
Denis O’Hare, who plays Wally Baker, has been married to Hugo Redwood since 2011. The couple adopted their son, Declan.
“If it weren’t for Hugo, I don’t think I would have become a parent. And now that I’m a parent, I can’t imagine missing out on that experience, I’m so grateful to him for having that desire,” O’Hare told Huffington Post in 2014.

Eric Edelstein, who recurs as Hank Williams, has been married to famous pet groomer Jess Rona. In honor of his birthday, Rona penned a heartfelt message about her husband.
“How do I put into words how much I love this man? My twin flame, the love of my life, my tinnyyyy best friend,” she began. “We met at my improv show and he hates improv shows so it was a miracle that we met. I put him in the friend zone for over a year until I realized I loved him.”
Geena Davis
At the moment, Geena Davis, who plays Renee, is not in a relationship. “I’m definitely not interested in ever getting married. I mean, it would just be ridiculous,” she told the Irish Times in 2022.
