In The Pitt, the ER doctors and nurses don’t have a spare minute to take a breather, let alone have a full-blown romance. The first batch of episodes takes place over 15 hours, seeing Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle) and his crew treat patient after patient over a single shift. Understandably, it’s pretty much all work and no play. Plus, the med students are undergoing their first rotation on the floor, so they’re all just meeting their coworkers.
Still, that hasn’t stop viewers from shipping certain characters, whether it be Abbot (Shawn Hatosy) and Mohan (Supriya Ganesh), Langdon (Patrick Ball) and King (Taylor Dearden), and so on. Though executive producer and writer R. Scott Gemmill said that an outright romance didn’t make sense for Season 1, he explained to TV Insider, “So, we may hint at things moving forward, but we’re not going to find anyone having sex in a broom closet any time soon.”
Regardless of how romance-heavy Season 2 is, you might be wondering just how much love is in the The Pitt cast’s lives off-screen. Who is Noah Wyle’s wife? Are other stars married, dating, or single? Below, Swooon has compiled the relationship statuses of the hottest fake medical professionals on TV.

Noah Wyle
If you’ve been following The Pitt during awards season, you’ve likely noticed that Wyle usually has a date on the red carpet. That would be the actor’s longtime love Sara Wells. During a 2014 appearance on The View, the ERstar revealed that they had a secret wedding earlier that year.
In 2011, Wyle and Wells met at a Blank Theatre Company production in Los Angeles. His wife was (and is) involved in the entertainment business, once running a children’s entertainment company and taking on small acting roles. Their daughter, Frances Harper, was born in 2015. Wells is a stepmom to Wyles’ son, Owen, and daughter, Auden. They were born in 2002 and 2005, when Wyles was married to makeup artist Tracy Warbin. They finalized their divorce in 2010 following a decade of marriage.

Shawn Hatosy
Keep an eye out for Hatosy’s wife, Kelly Albanese, in The Pitt Season 2. Her character hasn’t been revealed yet, but we hope the real-life married couple interacts in some form or another. Albanese has had roles in Shameless, Endings, Beginnings, and more. She wed Hatosy in 2010, though their origin story still isn’t widely known.
When Hatosy won the 2025 Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series, he thanked his wife. “To my wife who I love, and you’re my partner and my world, and I love you endlessly, and I wouldn’t be here without your sacrifices,” he said. They share two sons, whom she often posts on Instagram.

Katherine LaNasa
Katherine LaNasa, who plays the tough, burnt-out Nurse Dana Evans, is another member of The Pitt crew with a longtime love that works in entertainment. The actress married Grant Show in 2012, after they met on the set of HBO’s 2006 series Big Love.
In 2013, Show — who’s also known for his roles in Melrose Place and the more recent Dynasty reboot — gave some insight into their relationship. “We really have a great life; we say it all the time,” Show told Redbook. “I’ve gotten bigger and freer because of Katherine. I see the openness that she has and think you know what? I guess it is safe over there.”
LaNasa and Show welcomed their daughter, Eloise, in 2014. LaNasa also has a 35-year-old son, Henry, from a previous marriage to actor Dennis Hopper. They were married from 1989 to 1992. In 1998, she wed actor French Stewart. They divorced in 2009.

Patrick Ball isn’t married like his character, but he does have a girlfriend, who accompanied him to the Season 2 premiere. In September 2023, they joined the cast of a theater production of “Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard. (Check out a photo of the couple at the play’s table read here.)
On her boyfriend’s birthday in 2024, Roorbach captioned an Instagram post, “Cannot believe someone can be so generous and so loving all of the time. So lucky to get to love you and giggle with you and adventure with you🌜💛🌛 “

Isa Briones
