‘Golden Bachelorette’ Couple Joan Vassos & Chock Chapple Reveal First Christmas Plans
Our favorite Golden Bachelorette duo is ready to head into their first holiday season together, and the engaged couple already has their plans nailed down.
Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple might not be from the same state, but they have decided to celebrate the holidays together. But, the question of where they’ll be celebrating remains. In Maryland? Or will the mother of four head to the Midwest and go to Kansas?
Turns out, they will be going to Joan’s home for their first set of holidays as a couple. When speaking to Swooon, Chock disclosed, “We’re going to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas in Maryland with Joan. When I say we, my two kids and I, will spend that time in Maryland with Joan and her family.” Talk about a happy gathering!
Besides their upcoming holiday plans, they have made other big decisions, such as moving to New York City. However, they are not saying goodbye to their former homes. “We’re gonna maintain our houses in Kansas, Maryland, and then do the New York City deal. We’re just gonna have fun. We’re gonna live life,” Chock revealed.
Joan further explained, “Yeah, like being in Kansas and being Maryland is to be with our friends and our family.” She added, “When we want to just have couple time, I think it’ll be probably New York City. It’s fun.”
And the two have already started looking for their perfect spot. They’ve narrowed down the New York City neighborhoods to Soho. They haven’t picked a place yet, but they are hoping to find one before the end of the year.
Living together will happen before any chance of a Golden wedding, as both expressed wanting a “long-ish” engagement to Us Weekly. Having already begun to integrate their families, it proves that phase one of their joint union has already gotten off to a great start.
