‘Virgin River’ Season 6 Trailer Reveals First Look at Mel & Jack’s Wedding Day (VIDEO)
The long-awaited Virgin River wedding is upon us! The entire town is gearing up for the event of the year: Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack’s (Martin Henderson) wedding. The official Season 6 trailer dropped on Friday (November 29) and gave a first glimpse of the couple on their special day.
“You ready for this?” Brie (Zibby Allen) asks her older brother on his wedding day. Jack, looking more dapper than ever in his black tuxedo, is more than ready to say “I do” to Mel. He can’t wait for this next chapter of his life.
“I feel like the luckiest girl in the world,” Mel gushes. She’s ready to “trust in forever again.”
There will be plenty of twists and turns in the three weeks leading up to the nuptials. Lizzie (Sarah Dugdale) and Denny (Kai Bradbury) are preparing to welcome their baby, while Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) is dedicating himself to not “keeping secrets” anymore. That’s easier said than done. His best-kept secret (okay, maybe the worst) is that he’s clearly still in love with Brie.
Throughout the trailer, we see Mel and Jack practicing their wedding dance, as well as Mel celebrating her bachelorette party with her girls. There’s a brief glimpse of young Everett (Callum Kerr) and Sarah (Jessica Rothe) in the 1970s. Season 6 will dive into their love story for the first time.
“I’ve spent so many years wishing things hadn’t happened the way that they have, but the end of one love story can be the beginning of another,” Mel says.
The end of the trailer will give you full-body goosebumps. Jack gets a first look at Mel in her wedding dress, and he’s nearly speechless. “Wow” is all he can say. We don’t get a full view of Mel’s gown, but we just know it’s going to be tailor-made for our Virgin River fave.
