Summer heat, a tropical background, and some steamy fun are just a few ways to describe Netflix’s hit reality show Perfect Match.
Throwing a bunch of memorable characters together from a variety of reality series can be chaotic, which is precisely what those behind the scenes of Perfect Match are banking on. On July 14, Netflix dropped the Perfect Match Season 3 trailer, which you can watch above. Fans get their first taste of who will pair up, which couples will make it to the infamous boardroom, and how a couple of reality TV exes will react to an unceremonious reunion. For anyone who has yet to tune into the Netflix reality universe, we’d like to officially welcome you to the party, as the trailer reveals that the season would feature a Perfect Match first, announcing that “for the first time ever, sexy Netflix singles come together with Netflix reality newbies.”
Some of these stars may even fall in love, but not before turning up the heat with other potential matches. After such a dramatic second season, what’s in store for Season 3? When does Perfect Match Season 3 premiere?
Yes, Perfect Match has been officially renewed, and we have a premiere date! New episodes of Season 3 will roll out on Fridays over three weeks. Episodes 1 to 6 will drop on August 1, followed by Episodes 7 to 9 on August 8. The Season 3 finale will drop on August 15. Nick Lachey returns as the host.
“This is totally unique,” creator Chris Coelen previously told Swooon. “Season 3 of Perfect Match is completely unlike anything that you’ve seen, and stuff that happens and, and [the] sort of consequences it creates is unlike anything that you’ve seen so far on Perfect Match. It’s pretty cool.”
Who is in the Perfect Match Season 3 cast?
Love Is Blind’s A.D. Smith and Love Is Blind UK’s Ollie Sutherland were the first two cast members of Perfect Match Season 3 to be revealed. They confirmed their relationship to the world during the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion, and a short clip of their love story was shared.
The clip saw Ollie leading A.D. to a romantic spot on the beach. He got down on one knee and exclaimed, “You’re my best friend, you’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy as I have since I’ve met you.” Ollie continued, “Nothing would make me happier than spending the rest of my life loving you.” After he popped the question, A.D. squealed and quickly stated, “Yes” before sharing a kiss with her new fiancé. They’re also expecting their first child!
On June 25, the full cast of Season 3 was unveiled. Cast members from the Netflix reality universe include QT Bullock, Louis Russell, Jalen Brown, Lucy Syed, Sandy Gallagher, J.R. Warren, Olivia Rae, Cody Wright, Alex Zamora, Hannah Burns, Madison Errichiello, Freddie Powell, and Daniel Perfetto.
In a Perfect Match first, the show is pulling from outside Netflix. Bachelor Nation exes Clayton Echard and Rachel Recchia are part of Season 3. Love Island alums Scott Sutherland, Carrington Rodriguez, Justine Joy, and Ray Gantt are entering the Netflix world, as well as Siesta Key’s Juliette Porter.
Is anyone from Perfect Match still together?
To no one’s surprise, the couples from Perfect Match Seasons 1 and 2 have broken up. None of them were able to stay together in the real world for an extended period. However, we already know A.D. and Ollie are still together, so there’s already more hope for the Season 3 couples!
