‘The Bachelorette’s Devin Strader Throws Major Shade at Ex Jenn Tran on New Year’s Eve
Devin Strader rang in the new year at Tao nightclub and sent a message to ex-fiancée Jenn Tran. The Bachelorette Season 21 winner couldn’t leave his resentment toward Jenn in 2024 and is bringing that spirit into 2025.
Celebrating with fellow Bachelorette contestant Brian Autz, who captured a moment when a sign was brought into the club alongside a sparkling bottle with a very direct message to the Bachelor Nation favorite.

The message read, “Jenn ain’t it.”
Strader, who broke up with Tran before the After the Final Rose episode even aired, was seen dancing along to this message. Before that moment, Autz also showcased a video of another sign, “New Year Same Sh*t,” and it could ironically be applied to Strader.
The Texas-based freight company owner has been throwing shade at Tran ever since their breakup became public knowledge last year. Previously, he mocked Tran’s new beau Sasha Farber.
After someone commented that “Jenn found a great guy his name is sasha” on his post, Strader replied, “That’s a girls [sic] name.” When he started getting called out, Strader added, “Hey! STFU! This is my Instagram!”
Not happy with this misogynistic joke, Farber’s fellow Dancing with the Stars pro-Ezra Sosa defended his co-worker by stating, “I know about 5 Devin’s ALL in which are women.” After seeing the comment himself, Farber reacted with “Wow” and a facepalm emoji.
Following the jaw-dropping Bachelorette finale, Strader has tried to defend himself over how his relationship with Tran ended. Tran claimed on After the Final Rose that Strader ended their relationship in a 15-minute phone call, but he denied doing so in a lengthy Instagram video that has since been deleted.
He also shared private text messages with Tran that led extreme backlash. Tran slammed her ex for sharing their texts with the world. “That is such an invasion of privacy, so when I heard about this I had so many friends and family texting and calling me about this, I truthfully felt so betrayed, so just disrespected, and honestly just upset and disappointed,” she said on The Viall Files podcast.
