With only a few unscripted programs in their rotation, this next chapter is bound to be something great. With a name like Small Town Setup, they can’t go wrong, right? It is time to take a closer look at the new series and see what is happening in the Hallmark world.
What is Small Town Setup about?
Small Town Setup follows the premise that is all too familiar to the Hallmark audience.

Embarking on a journey to love, these big city career-minded children get help from their small-town parents in order to find their soulmates. These parents will enlist the help of their friends, family, and neighbors to find three potential matches for their children. When the singletons head back to visit home, they’ll go on three different dates. Will they stay in their hometowns, or will they head back to the big city?
Who is the host of Small Town Setup?
A familiar face will lead the audience through the potential love stories. Ashley Williams is ready to swap her role as the main character in plenty of fictional romantic escapades to become cupid for a bunch of real-life people.
She opened the trailer by asking the question, “What would you do if your entire family and your hometown set you up to find love?” Williams then firmly stated, “You’re about to find out.”
Later on, the 46-year-old happily exclaimed, “People might actually fall in love.” She emphasized, “It’s like a Hallmark movie, but real!”

When did Small Town Setup premiere?
All six episodes of Small Town Setup premiered January 2 on Hallmark+.

Will there be a Small Town Setup Season 2?
Hallmark hasn’t announced whether or not Small Town Setup will return for Season 2. Since the show just premiered, it might take some time to learn the show’s fate. Hallmark+’s other reality series, Finding Mr. Christmas, has already scored a Season 2 renewal, so here’s hoping Small Town Setup will continue as well!
