Roses & Tears! ‘Bachelor’ Grant Ellis Cries in New Season 29 Preview (VIDEO)
It’s almost time for Grant Ellis to hand out a bunch of roses and fall in love! The Bachelor will make its long-awaited return on January 27.
Heading into Season 29 are 25 women who are all there to compete for Grant’s affection. The 31-year-old day trader will have to make difficult decisions as he narrows down the group of lovely ladies. Will he be ready for an experience full of drama, love, and (possibly) heartbreak?
A new preview showcases that the adventure tested the New Jersey native at times. However, the tear-fest didn’t just prove to be hard on him but also on the ladies vying for his adoration.
Set to the musings of Mary J. Blige, a red backdrop with the words, “Tear we go again,” appears. In the 30-second clip, Grant and several other women are in a bit of emotional distress. The tears falling down their faces allow the audience to conclude that it won’t be an easy journey for the Houston-based hunk.

There are, however, a few fun moments that make their way into the short sneak peek, such as a llama being featured as a special guest during one introductions. Can the fuzzy animal, named Linda, also stay to entertain the fans? Or was she just there for a short fragment to accompany Alexe? Either way, we’re happy to have a few seconds of pure joy.
Yet, some unhinged moments are also part of the teaser, such as Carolina’s unbothered “I guess I’m crazy and evil” line. In a tense moment, Grant says, “I have to follow my heart, and that is hard for me.”
What is he referring to?! With less than three weeks left before the start of Grant’s Bachelor era, let the theories commence!
