‘Love Is Blind’s Chelsea & Kwame Reveal Their Future Family Plans & How They Rise Above Critics (VIDEO)

Two of the biggest personalities in Love Is Blind history are Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin Appiah. These two have a lot of love to share, and their attitudes have always been infectious.

As their love story began in the pods during the Seattle installment of the franchise, it felt like a match made in heaven. Although not everyone necessarily agreed. Many fans of Love Is Blind had outspoken opinions about them and were surprised that they said “I do.” Others saw the vision from the very beginning. Now, three years later, the dynamic duo revealed what their happily ever after looks like today.

Speaking candidly, Chelsea opened up to Swooon in our latest Blind Items video, “Life has changed in every way.” She continued, “Since Love is Blind, we moved, we bought a house, we’ve had career changes, we’ve supported each other through health challenges. There has been just a lot, lot of life that you live… Turns out, when you only know somebody for like seven weeks before you marry them, a lot of life happens after that. “

Following up on that statement, Kwame divulged, “We don’t necessarily know what the exact next step is. I think the goal is to eventually build a bigger family, right? We don’t know if 2025 is the year. We don’t know if it’s 2026, but the goal is we are trying to learn from each other, uplift each other, and grow with each other as much as we possibly can until we get to that point where we believe we will be able to support not just each other, but maybe another life.”

The loved-up couple are definitely well on their way to that pursuit. Tying the knot two months into their courtship, they were able to relive the beginning of their romance as the episodes rolled out. While they saw an adorable couple fall in love, some fans wanted to criticize their chemistry, and three years later that narrative still occasionally pops up. The Appiahs are not interested in entertaining the haters.

Kwame talked directly to the critics, “Hey, cool. I’m glad you had your opinion. You are entitled to it, like, have it. Keep having it. That’s okay. At the end of the day, the things that you say or do don’t actually affect me in my real life.” The 33-year-old agreed with her husband while also adding another point to keep in mind, “I think that Love Is Blind has a really strong fan base.”

She explained that the individuals who participate truly share everything about themselves with the world, “And because of that, it feels very real…  I think human beings see themselves in each of us, or some of us, right? And so they just develop a very strong connection. They want to see us win.”

Having loved their time on Love Is Blind, both Appiahs knew exactly what type of reality TV show they’d love to appear on next. “What about The Real Housewives of Love Is Blind? That’s what I would do,” Chelsea confidently said. Another series on the top of her head is Squid Game: The Challenge“I feel like I would really excel in that, and I would like that. I’m more of a social individual, and I feel like I have the grit and stamina and a wide range of skills to be able to get through some of those challenges.”

Kwame is ready to head into the ballroom or to Scotland. had a different answer. “My number one would be Dancing with the Stars because it’s just fun. We go out there, we have a good time. But next would The Traitors.”
