‘General Hospital’s Rebecca Herbst Makes Rare Comment About Husband Michael Saucedo & Kids
General Hospital veteran Rebecca Herbst has been happily married to Michael Saucedo, whom she met on the set of the soap, since 2001. Over the course of the two-decade marriage, Herbst and Saucedo have welcomed three kids together.
On March 1, Herbst opened up about her family life in a rare post. She shared a sweet photo of herself cuddling up to her husband, along with a photo of her three children, Ethan, Emerson, and Ella.
“And since I’m in a sharing mood…The loves of my life. Yes, I am the shortest one in my house,” she began. “(And there might be an I spy somewhere in there for a certain group).”

General Hospital fans were quick to spot Herbst wearing a Liason hoodie, referring to the ship name for Liz Webber and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). “THE LIASON HOODIE JUST BROUGHT ME SO MUCH JOY,” one fan commented on Herbst’s post.
Herbst has played Liz Webber on the long-running ABC soap since 1997. Her now-husband played Juan Santiago on General Hospital.
The actress frequently shares gifts she’s received from fans, especially ones that spotlight romances her character has been involved in over the years. On the same day she shared the family photos, Herbst also posted a photo of a Liason ornament she was given. “I was so happy to have this lil guy the week we had our power out!! And all the ornaments were perfect!!!” she wrote.
Herbst even gave a shout out to a special dessert she received that had a photo of her and Rick Hearst, aka Ric Lansing, printed on it. “So beautiful! Will always love and adore LiRic,” one fan commented.
Three of Liz’s fan-favorite love interests are all back on General Hospital. Steve Burton returned as Jason in March 2024, followed by Hearst and Jonathan Jackson, aka Lucky Spencer, in August.
