Jenny McCarthy Reveals Secret Trick to Making Donnie Wahlberg Marriage Last

Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy have been married for more than 11 years, which is quite impressive in Hollywood. The couple is going strong and stepped out for a date night at the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday, March 17.
On the red carpet, they opened up about their marriage secrets and revealed how they’re continuing to get to know each other more than a decade after getting together.
“I just played this game with him called ‘Questions,'” McCarthy told People. “And it’s a thing that we put into our marriage, which is every once in a while we’ll play this game, and we have to ask questions that we don’t know the answer to because you already know what you think are answers to everything after 10 years.”
The actress said that the “Questions” game helps them “actually do work and get introspective and get curious about each other.” She added, “When you get curious about each other, it feels like you’re dating again. So we always make sure we play ‘Questions’ to keep that curiosity going in our relationship.”
Dating while married is also important to the couple. “We continue to date each other,” McCarthy explained. “I think we get really complacent and it can become a brother and sister relationship real quick, unless you do the work.”
The two tied the knot in 2014 and are committed to their life together. However, they previously made it clear that they won’t be adding more kids to the mix (he already has two children and she has one). “We’re both on the same wavelength. No more babies,” McCarthy told Us Weekly in January.
Her husband added, “We wish we could have. It seemed like we waited our whole lives for each other. But now we’re a happy, blended family. We’ll live through the grandkids.”
