Should ‘Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner Join ‘Bachelor in Paradise? (POLL)

Bachelor in Paradise is returning in 2025 with a twist. Season 10 will feature the singles from previous seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, as well as those still looking for love from the Golden franchise!
With one season of The Golden Bachelor and one season of The Golden Bachelorette squared away, there are plenty of seniors still looking for the one, and some of them will have the opportunity to do just that on the beach this summer. Fans are anxiously waiting for more information about the cast and format, and we can’t help but wonder if the inaugural Golden Bachelor himself, Gerry Turner, will be headed to Mexico.
Turner married his Golden Bachelor final pick, Theresa Nist, in January 2024, but their union was short-lived. Just three months later, the pair announced their separation, and the divorce was finalized in June.
Although Turner kept a low-profile in the months that followed, he resurfaced in December 2024 to reveal that he had been diagnosed with a bone marrow cancer called Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia. At the time, he told Fox News Digital that he was seeing someone new, although he kept details about her identity under wraps.
“I have dated a bit, off and on,” Turner shared. “Currently, you know, I am dating someone, and I will continue my search to find my partner for the rest of my life.”
He certainly didn’t make the relationship seem too serious and has not given any updates since, so his current relationship status is unclear. If he’s single, though, should be head down to Bachelor in Paradise for another shot at love? It would certainly be quite entertaining, as the women on the beach will be the same ones he dated on The Golden Bachelor.
So far, only a few cast members have been revealed for BIP Season 10. From the Golden franchise, Leslie Fhima, who was Turner’s runner-up, and Gary Levingston, a contestant on The Golden Bachelorette, are confirmed to be heading down to Mexico for the dating experiment.
