Are ‘Survivor’s Joe Anglim & Sierra Dawn Thomas Still Together?
Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn Thomas were both on Season 30 of Survivor, which filmed in 2014 and aired the following spring. While there was no romantic connection between them on the island — Sierra even voted her now-husband out of the game — they eventually got together and tied the knot in November 2019.

Are Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn Thomas still together?
Yes, Joe and Sierra are still married today. The two often post about each other on social media, which is how they’ve kept fans updated on their relationship status.
In honor of Sierra’s birthday in December 2024, Joe gushed on Instagram, “What’s even crazier is trying to imagine what my life really was before you. Before us. Before them. Thank you my love. Thank you for you. Thank you for making me better. Discovering Our best still yet to come. The best gift the world could have received. My world.”

The previous month, Sierra acknowledged their five-year wedding anniversary by writing, “My lifetime subscription 🤍 Happy Anni, I love you @janglim21.”
Do Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn have kids?
Yes, they’re proud parents to two children. Their daughter, Della, was born in May 2021, followed by son Vander in August 2022. They do not plan to have more kids, as they’ve referred to Vander as the “final member” of the family.
Sierra has been open about Vander’s medical issues. In May 2024, she revealed that he had been diagnosed with Joubert Syndrome, “a rare genetic condition characterized by abnormal brain development that includes the absence or underdevelopment of the cerebellar vermis (an area of the brain that controls balance and coordination) and a malformed brain stem,” according to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Later that year, she shared that her son also “has Duane Syndrome and Horner Syndrome.” Duane Syndrome is an “eye misalignment that’s congenital,” according to the Cleveland Clinic, and Horner Syndrome is a “rare neurological syndrome that affects your eye and the surrounding area on one side of your face,” per the site.
Where do Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn live?
The couple lives in Utah. Joe is from Arizona, but moved to Utah in 2018 after starting a romance with his former costar. Their nuptials took place in Utah, as well.
“I’ve just been learning a lot about horses and doing a lot of equine massage and training,” Joe told The Salt Lake Tribune after his move. “I knew nothing about horses coming up here. So Sierra had to be patient with me. She had to teach me. She’s still teaching me.”
He continued, “Man, I didn’t realize how much work horses were. Especially these ones. They’re like Ferraris. They’re fast, they have bad attitudes, and you have to be very mindful of them all the time.”
