Are Country Stars Ella Langley & Riley Green Dating?
Ella Langley took country music by storm in 2024 when she collaborated with Riley Green on the now-hit song “You Look Like You Love Me.” The track is nominated four times at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards, and already took home the honor for Visual Media of the Year ahead of the show.
There’s no denying that Langley and Green have great chemistry whenever they perform the track together, which has led to questions about whether they’re romantically involved. Scroll down for everything we know about whether or not Langley and Green are dating!
Are Ella Langley and Riley Green dating?
No, Langley and Green are not dating. She confirmed in September 2024 that they’re “just friends,” which he reiterated during an interview on The Viall Files that December.
“Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway,” he admitted. “When we first started having success with that song, I kinda told Ella, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of things said, but I mean you don’t really gotta play into it or not play into it.'”
Their collaboration came about while Langley was opening for Green on his 2024 tour. She cut the song right before joining him on the road. “I was like, ‘Dang, imagine if Riley were to write a second verse of this song?’” she told People. “Just him talking. It’s a different thing and stuff that we both grew up on. It’s just been such a cool experience to experience all of this with somebody.”
Green added that he first heard the song through a mutual friend and that he wrote his verse after “Ella played it for me some.”
How did Ella Langley and Riley Green meet?
The singers are both from Alabama, so they’ve played the same venues in the early days of their careers. “Riley was probably the first famous person I ever met,” Langley told Taste of Country. “He was playing all the same bars I went to, and I played the same bars as him. It’s cool to see Alabama people winning.”
In a November 2024 interview with Backstage Country, Green said that he’d been a fan of Langley’s for a long time. “We met through a mutual friend, and I was kind of in as soon as I heard her voice and her twang and how country she sounded,” he explained. “And also that she loved what I would call traditional country music.”
Is Ella Langley engaged?
In March, rumors swirled that Langley had secretly gotten engaged after she posted a video of herself, and fans noticed she was wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. The following day, she cleared up the speculation.

It turns out that the ring was just a prop for a music video. Langley posted a behind-the-scenes clip of herself trying on the prop. After seeing it on her finger she said, “That’s frightening. Married to my job!”
She does not appear to be in a relationship.
Is Riley Green married?
No, and Green is not in a relationship and confirmed on the In the Blind podcast in March that he’s “single.” At one point, there were rumors that he was linked to fellow country singer Jessica Lynn, but that turned out not to be true.
“I think for the last six years I’ve been easily distracted by my lifestyle,” Green said on the Off the Vine podcast in 2024. He also once explained to Taste of Country that his busy schedule hasn’t been conducive to settling down. “You’re spending a couple hundred days on the road – I don’t know many girls who are OK with that,” the country singer shared.

At the beginning of 2025, fans speculated that Green was dating country superstar Megan Moroney after they matched up social media photos and realized they were vacationing in the same place. However, Moroney confirmed to Rolling Stone that it was just a coincidence.
“He was individually on his vacation with his friends,” she explained. “St. Barts is a popular place!” However, they did meet up. “It’s one of those things where if you know someone on a small island, you’re like, ‘Oh, s**t, you’re here too.’ So it was fun.”
As for the dating rumors, she clarified, “Just because we’re hanging out doesn’t mean we’re romantically dating. You know what I mean?”
