‘Bachelor’ Couple Grant & Juliana Give Wedding Update and Reveal Second Proposal Plans
It’s been two months since Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa went public with their engagement following the Season 29 finale of The Bachelor. The season was filmed in the fall of 2024, which means they’ve been together for more than six months, and they gave a new update on their wedding plans while appearing on the Tuesday, May 20, episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.
While Ellis and Pasquarosa are still taking things one day at a time and not rushing down the aisle, they plan to take a major step this summer.
The couple is heading to Italy on vacation, and since that’s where they want to get married, they’re hoping to check out some wedding venues during the trip. “I think we should!” Pasquarosa teased when host Serena Pitt suggested it. The Boston native also noted that it’s her dream to get married in Italy, but Ellis assured her he is onboard. “We’re gonna make it happen, for sure,” he promised.
While the location seems to be squared away, the timeline is still up in the air. However, Pasquarosa revealed that fans will know when she and her fiancé are getting closer to making more specific plans.
“Right now, we’re really just taking life one day at a time and one moment at a time,” she explained. “We’re focused on the move and getting life situated being together. But I told [Grant] when he wants to start talking about [the wedding], and he feels like we’re at that point, he has to re-propose.” She clarified that she doesn’t need a new engagement ring, but confirmed that once the re-proposal happens, it means wedding planning is underway.
When it comes to her wedding dress, Pasquarosa started getting inspiration during a recent trip to Florida. She went wedding dress shopping for her little cousin, and while she didn’t try on any gowns herself, she realized that she’s open to just about anything. “I just love everything,” she gushed. “She tried on all the different styles and I was like, ‘That’s gorgeous, oh my God that’s so beautiful.’ I think I need to find out the exact venue so that I can have something to go off of, because I could do anything.”
Meanwhile, Ellis and Pasquarosa are also still planning on moving in together in Boston. However, due to various trips in the coming weeks, they won’t have time to start looking for apartments until June.
