‘Love Is Blind’ Season 3 Couple Colleen Reed & Matt Bolton Split After 3 Years of Marriage
It’s over for Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton, who met and fell in love during Love Is Blind Season 3. Ahead of what would have been their fourth wedding anniversary in July, the couple announced their split.
Reed and Bolton had been facing questions from fans about the status of their relationship for months. On May 23, the couple released a joint statement about their decision to end their marriage.
“We wanted to share something personal, and this is not easy to do, but after nearly four years together, we’ve decided to end our marriage and move forward on our own paths,” they wrote in a statement released on Instagram. “We’ve been separated for some time now and have being our best to work through everything privately and with care.”
They continued, “This was an incredibly difficult decision, not one we made lightly. It came with a lot of thought and it’s been an emotional process for both of us. We met in the most unique and unexpected way, and we’ll always be grateful for the love and memories we’ve shared. There’s not one thing we would change and we continue to have deep respect and care for one another.”

The Season 3 stars thanked the fans for their support and asked “for compassion as we navigate this transition.”
News of their split comes just a month after Reed opened up about her marriage to Bolton. “We had so many challenges,” she told Us Weekly in April 2025. “Of course, staying together, but also, I would say with all the audience and all the eyeballs is definitely the hardest to go through and all of the opinions and everything.”
She noted that public scrutiny had been “the biggest challenge” in her marriage. “Then, you have your own everyday challenges that you go through in a relationship and a marriage. With everything, it’s definitely a pressure cooker, so you just have to be strong with yourself and with your relationship,” she added.
Reed and Bolton were one of two Season 3 couples to get married at the end of the season, along with Alexa and Brennon Lemieux. Despite getting married in 2021, Reed and Bolton didn’t officially move in together until 2023.
