‘Love Is Blind’ Stars AD Smith & Ollie Sutherland Expecting First Child After Surprise Engagement
The Love Is Blind family is getting even bigger! Just two months after confirming their relationship and engagement, AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland announced that they’re expecting their first child together.
The couple confirmed Smith’s pregnancy with a video they posted on Instagram. At the end of the video, Smith and Sutherland sweetly cradled her baby bump and held up ultrasound photos. “How you changed my world, you’ll never know,” they captioned the announcement.
Members of the Love Is Blind universe sent their love to the couple in the comments. Ashley Adionser wrote, “IM SCREAMING!!! Omgosh congrats!!!!!!” Freddie Powell quipped, “Congratulations guys! Both ❤️ Can I be godfather?” Fellow Season 6 star Jessica Vestal wrote, “God is so good!! Congratulations my girl, you’re going to be the best mommy.”
After appearing in separate Love Is Blind series—Smith on Love Is Blind Season 6 and Sutherland on Love Is Blind: UK—Smith and Sutherland fell in love after meeting on the set of Perfect Match Season 3, which will return later this year. Smith was previously engaged to Clay Gravesande, while Sutherland was engaged to Demi Brown.
Rumors had been swirling for months that Smith and Sutherland were dating, and they went public at the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion. They shared a romantic video of Sutherland’s beach proposal to Smith.
On Smith’s What’s the Reality? podcast in March 2025, the couple revealed that they plan to get married soon. They will also be having two weddings. “[We’re getting] married here in the States so that, obviously, your family can be there and share the experience,” Sutherland said. “And then some of my people will still come.”
Smith and Sutherland have not announced whether or not they plan to get married before or after they welcome their baby.
