George & Amal Clooney Look Glamorous for Date Night at 2025 Tony Awards
George Clooney is hoping to add Tony Awards winner to his résumé at the 2025 ceremony, and he had his wife, Amal Clooney, by his side as he walked the red carpet before the show.
The couple looked picture-perfect as they enjoyed a date night at Radio City Music Hall for the Tonys, where George is nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play for his role as Edward R. Murrow in Good Night, and Good Luck.
For the evening out, Amal got glammed up and looked stunning in a beaded, white, off-the-shoulder dress Meanwhile, George was handsome as ever in his tuxedo.

This is George’s first Tony Awards nomination, but he has some tough competition, as he’s up against Cole Escola for Oh, Mary!, Jon Michael Hill for Purpose, Daniel Dae Kim for Yellow Face, Harry Lennix for Purpose, and Louis McCartney for Stranger Things: The First Shadow.
George cowrote Good Night, and Good Luck with Grant Heslov. The play was adapted from the pair’s 2005 film of the same name and opened on Broadway in March. George made his Broadway debut, playing Murrow in the story about the CBS journalist’s conflict with Senator Joseph McCarthy.
The show received five total Tony Awards nominations. In addition to George’s nod, it’s also up for Best Scenic Design of a Play, Best Costume Design of a Play, Best Lighting Design of a Play, and Best Sound Design of a Play.
Amal couldn’t have been prouder of her husband as she posed beside him for the big night. The two got engaged in April 2014 and tied the knot just five months later. The couple welcomed twins Ella and Alexander in 2017, and although George often speaks about the kids in interviews, he and Amal have kept them out of the public eye.
