‘B&B’ Star Scott Clifton & Girlfriend Share Rare Update: ‘Why We’ve Been Quiet’
Scott Clifton and his girlfriend, Elle Anderson, are finally revealing why they’ve been mostly silent on social media lately. On June 11, The Bold and the Beautiful star and his love opened up about a recent health challenge.
Anderson shared a post on her Instagram Story that read, “This is why we’ve been quiet over here the last few months.”
The event planner recently had an intensive surgery to correct an injury she sustained in a car accident a year and a half ago. The accident left Anderson with a “53% curvature in my spine. 6+ hours of surgery, 4 doctors and a robot @docs.health saved my life and ability to walk.”
She captioned her Instagram post, “The physical challenges have been real, but the people around me have been my strength. One week into a two-week bedrest and with many weeks of physical therapy to come, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the love and support.”

Anderson thanked Clifton, her friends, and doctors. She revealed that her boyfriend “lovingly” nicknamed her “Quasimodo,” the character from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Clifton’s son, Ford, whom he shares with ex Nicole Lampson helped take care of Anderson. “And Ford became the most loving and serious bedside nurse. He has taken this self titled responsibility VERY seriously.”
Clifton and Anderson have been dating since at least January 2024. They made their red carpet debut at the 2024 Daytime Emmys.
The General Hospital alum gushed in a birthday post that Anderson “makes selflessness and grace into an art form; who shattered the glass ceiling of what I imagined love could be; the antidote to cynicism; the heartbeat of the Phoenix; the quiet compass; the brush stroke of wisdom. I love you, Elle. And I celebrate you with every aching breath.”
