’90 Day Fiancé’ Finale Preview: Mahdi Is Overwhelmed By Stevi’s Wedding Surprise (VIDEO)
Stevi Nichole and Mahdi Al-Saadi are tying the knot in the June 15 episode of 90 Day Fiancé, and Stevi is making sure Mahdi has a piece of home on the special day. Swooon has an exclusive preview of the all-new episode, which features Mahdi arriving at the venue.
When Mahdi, who looks sharp in his suit, walks through the venue, he notices a Half-Sin, which catches him off guard. “This is the last thing I expected to see,” he revealed. “Syed and I are getting into the venue, and I realized that Stevi surprised me with a Haft-Sin. Haft-Sin is one of the most important symbols of Persian culture.”
Mahdi explains that Haft-Sin means “seven things that starts with ‘S,’ and in two or three days from now, it’s going to be Persian New Year, and everyone is having this Half-Sin in their houses.” These symbolic items represent different aspects of life and well-being.
“This is the very first Persian New Year that I’m not with my family, and I have it here in my wedding. So I’m really feeling overwhelmed. It was really sweet,” an emotional Mahdi says.
Stevi and Mahdi will be saying “I do” after meeting online. Stevi, who hails from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, was teaching online English classes to Mahdi, who is from Tehran, Iran. After starting off their relationship tackling long distance (and only one week spent together in person), Stevi has brought Mahdi to the United States to marry her.
In February 2025, Stevi penned a heartfelt note about her love for Mahdi. “They told me to fear what I did not know,” she began. “He showed me how to love what I thought I couldn’t understand. The world is so much bigger than headlines. He changed me. He changed my life. He opened my eyes to the world and especially the beauty of Iran. Iran is more than a government – it’s the heart of its people, and he’s proof.”
