Is Luann de Lesseps Still With James After ‘Love Hotel’ Finale?
We might’ve checked out of Love Hotel after the Season 1 finale aired last night, but that doesn’t mean we aren’t still in vacation mode — especially since we can’t stop thinking about Luann de Lesseps and her new suitor, James Quine.
The couple left together during the June 15 episode of Bravo’s reality dating show, but fans questioned their relationship status when, earlier this month, de Lesseps sported some jewelry on her ring finger. Around the same time, The Real Housewives of New York City star was spotted hugging a mystery man in the Hamptons.
On an episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, host Andy Cohen gave de Lesseps the stage to address the rumors of her engagement — and to give an update about where she and Quine stand.
Are Luann de Lesseps & James still together?
Based on what she told Cohen, De Lesseps, 60, is keeping things casual with Quine, 62.
“You know what I love about James is, he said to me, ‘You know Lu, I live in Hawaii. I can’t be with you all the time. It’s totally OK if you date,'” she dished. “’And when we see each other, we see each other, because I love you, Lu.’”
She went on to gush about her Love Hotel costar’s “love of life” and ability to tap into his inner child. “I feel like a 9-year-old little girl when I’m with him,” she said, adding that she’s drawn to his spirituality and interest in yoga and meditation. “He’s very solid as a person and somebody I can trust.”
When asked by Cohen if she was turned off when Quine labeled her as his girlfriend early on, de Lesseps squashed that line of questioning by saying, “No, because I liked it and I love James.”
The reality star then brought up ex-husband Alexandre de Lesseps, whom she was married to from 1993 to 2009. “I got married to the Count after two weeks of knowing him, so I know when I like people right away. Well, except for Tom. That didn’t work out so great,” de Lesseps quipped about her months-long marriage to businessman Tom D’Agostino Jr. several years ago.

So, with all of that in mind, did de Lesseps take her relationship with Quine to the next level?
Cohen asked for the story behind the ring on her finger — which she wore during the taping of WWHL and flashed toward the camera. “It was a gift from one of my admirers,” de Lesseps cryptically replied. “That’s all I’m going to say.”
De Lesseps also disclosed that it doesn’t fit on any other finger, hence its placement.
Cohen prodded further, asking if the ring was from Quine, but de Lesseps denied it. “The key is from James,” she offered, hand going up to her necklace.
