‘B&B’ Star Jack Wagner Reveals Surprising Reason He Doesn’t Live With New Wife

Even though they decided their May 18 wedding should be “as traditional as possible,” newlyweds Jack Wagner and Michelle Wolf aren’t taking the same approach when it comes to their living situation.
The When Calls The Heart star has kept his relationship mostly under wraps since he started dating Wolfe four years ago — their wedding was similarly private — but he recently opened up about why he doesn’t share a home with his new wife.
“It’s an adjustment in terms of my schedule, for sure, right?” he told Parade. The actor is set to return for the 13th season of When Calls the Heart, which is currently in production and films in Vancouver. “And Michelle’s a singer, and she has an R&B rock band, so she’s just a monster singer. We’re able to make it work.”
The Bold and the Beautiful actor, 65, went on to explain that they each have their own homes that they’re already comfortable in. Since they travel back and forth between the two, the arrangement isn’t much different to how it was when they dated.
“It’s kind of cool, you know?” he said. “We’ve decided, let’s not rock the boat and sell this and sell that and try to find something. We take a couple nights off, and then we trade off who’s going to be where because I think we both know that the older we are, it’s nice to have a little space. Not too much, but it’s okay! It works.”
The couple is now settling into post-wedding life. They honeymooned in Italy, where Wagner also filmed scenes for B&B. Looking back at his wedding, Wagner told Swooon, “It was a day that doesn’t happen much for me. One of those once-in-a-lifetime things. I’m not out dancing and being crazy at my age very often. Like, never. And it was an opportunity for everyone to get their jig step going and have a lot of laughs.”
