‘The Bold & the Beautiful’: Who Is Liam’s One True Love—Hope or Steffy? (POLL)
Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) love life has revolved around two women: Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). This trio has been one of The Bold and the Beautiful‘s central love triangles for years, and the Liam/Hope vs. Liam/Steffy debate is still highly debated amongst fans.
Technically, Liam and Hope’s romance started first, but it wasn’t long before Steffy entered the race for Liam’s heart. Since then, Liam has been mostly ping-ponging back and forth between the two women.
There have been plenty of romantic moments and shocking twists between Hope, Liam, and Steffy—from gorgeous weddings to devastating breakups to petty schemes. New men have battled for Hope and Steffy’s affections, and Liam was once married to Ivy Forrester (Ashleigh Brewer). But all roads ultimately lead back to this love triangle.
With Liam’s brain tumor diagnosis such a focal point on the CBS soap, we’ve started to think about the main loves of Liam’s life. Steffy and Hope represent two different kinds of love. There’s the red-hot flames with Steffy or calm waters with Hope.
Clifton recently told TV Insider that he’s enjoying exploring a platonic relationship with Steffy at the moment. He acknowledged Liam and Steffy have “this closeness, this love, this affection, but it’s not a desperation to hook up. Liam’s not trying to get Steffy back or to intervene in her relationship with Finn [Finnegan, Tanner Novlan]. It’s none of that. They’re really good coparents, and they’re really good friends, and they care about each other.”
