‘Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner Gives Rare Glimpse at Life With Girlfriend in New Photo
Gerry Turner and girlfriend Lana Sutton are going strong. Two months after going public with their romance, the couple gave a rare look inside their relationship in honor of Turner’s granddaughter’s graduation.
The Golden Bachelor alum shared photos from the celebrations for Charlee, and Sutton popped up in one of the images.
In the picture, Charlee stood between Turner and Sutton in front of a balloon arch. Turner also shared a solo shot with his granddaughter, as well as a picture with what looks like a group of her friends.
“Congratulations Charlee!! My favorite younger Gdaughter has graduated HS and is taking her volleyball career to the next level at Trevecca,” he captioned the post. “So proud of you and excited to see your future accomplishments.”

Turner’s first wife, Toni, died in 2017. They were married for 43 years at the time of her death. In 2023, he was the first lead of The Golden Bachelor and got engaged to Theresa Nist. They tied the knot in January 2024, only to split three months later.
Less than a year after the divorce, Turner met Sutton after she reached out to him via Facebook. Since she lived in a nearby Indiana town, they were able to connect quickly. Turner has described their first meeting as “love at first sight,” and said it’s something he hasn’t experienced before.
“I don’t know that either of us necessarily would be looking to get married, but we’ve also said that’s not off the table,” he later told People. “We’ve come to the comfortable agreement that we both want a long-term, committed, permanent relationship. [We feel like] we’re in that now.”
Meanwhile, Nist teased that she’s also seeing someone new earlier this month. “I absolutely do want to be in a relationship, and whether or not I’m in one right now, I’m not prepared to discuss,” she said on the Almost Famous podcast.
She kept her mystery man’s identity a secret but confirmed that they’d been on “several” dates and met on a dating app. At the time, they were not yet calling each other “boyfriend/girlfriend,” and she hasn’t given an update since.
