’90 Day Fiancé’: Shekinah Güven and Daniele Gates’ Explosive Feud, Explained
The 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 Tell All isn’t Shekinah’s first rodeo.
Sarper and Shekinah Güven (neé Garner) first appeared in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 5 after they met while Shekinah was on a trip in Turkey. It’s safe to say that the personal trainer and aesthetician’s road to marriage has been a rocky one, and even though the couple finally tied the knot during 90 Day Fiancé‘s first-ever “Bedding,” the couple is still anything but a “unified front.”
During the teaser for the second part of 90 Day Fiancé‘s Season 11 Tell All, host Shaun Robinson (Access Hollywood) brings out a familiar face to comment on the season, 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way Season 5 star Daniele Gates. Recognizing the connection between Daniele and Shekinah, Robinson states, “I wanted to ask you about an online interaction you had with Shekinah.”

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way costars Shekinah and Daniele’s relationship dates back to December 2023, when they officially met at the Tell All for their season. During the Tell All, Shekinah accused Daniele of not saying hi back to her, arguing, “She kind of just seems [to think that] she’s superior to everyone.”
Following the Season 5 Tell All, Daniele posted a poll on her Instagram story asking, “What do you think happened with Shekinah?” The two options that she gave her followers to vote on were: “I ignored her bc I don’t fw pick me b*tches.” and “I didn’t hear her say hello.”
Shekinah also accused Daniele of dating her partner, Yohan, for selfish reasons. During a confessional at their Tell All, Shekinah stated: “I never really cared for Daniele… I felt like she had very specific reasons to choose Yohan as a partner. I think she liked the way that he looked, she liked the size of his [bleep]. But I think she went into that relationship looking to change him, and I felt like she kind of manhandled him.”
During their Tell All, Daniele fired at Shekinah, arguing that she never practiced self-reflection, even though she told everyone else they needed to reflect. As Daniele put it, “You just sit here and yell at everybody else and tell everybody else what they’re doing wrong.”
Following the Tell All, Daniele’s social media comments were flooded with messages in support of Shekinah. Daniele believed that these comments were sent by bots that Shekinah had paid for, even though Shekinah denied it. Daniele tagged Shekinah, commenting, “This is so interesting. For some reason, I woke up to all these pro-Shekinah bot posts. No real accounts, no real people.” She even went as far as telling Shekinah, “Get your rachet ass off my page weirdo.”
Three hours later, Shekinah responded, “The fact that you think you’re THAT important that I would PAY to do ANYTHING having to do with you is what’s insane, ma’am. Another delusion of yours. Get well soon.” The esthetician then took to her Instagram story, accusing Daniele of messaging Sarper before the Tell All, “telling him she’s sorry in advance for anything she might say at the tell-all.” According to Shekinah, Daniele never paid her the same courtesy. Shekinah followed up this accusation by calling Daniele “complete trash” and saying that she “belongs in the street.”
While their social media battle may have occurred over a year and a half ago, Daniele is seen reflecting on the interaction during the Season 11 Tell All teaser, saying, “[Shekinah] said that I was trash, that I was hitting on Sarper…” an accusation that Shekinah quickly deflects. Later in the teaser, nearly the entire cast can be seen arguing and taking sides during Shekinah and Daniele’s interaction backstage.
Only time will tell if Shekinah and Daniele can work it out in the remix; however, when it comes to these 90 Day icons, we don’t suggest holding your breath.
