‘Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner & Girlfriend Lana Sutton Head Overseas for Europe Vacation
Gerry Turner and Lana Sutton have taken their love overseas. After more than three months of dating, the couple jetted to England for a summer trip, and The Golden Bachelor star documented their first day with an Instagram post.
“The First day of our adventures in the UK,” he wrote. “Wait til you see what we have planned for tomorrow!! Much more to come.”
Turner’s photo dump included various selfies with Sutton from different locations in the country, as well as scenic shots of some of the sights they saw.
Turner and Sutton met in March after she messaged him on Facebook. Turner revealed that he accepted Sutton’s request because they had mutual friends on the site. However, he didn’t respond to her initial message. Once she followed up with a second one and said she only lived about 20 minutes away from him in Indiana, he replied. And the rest is history!

Things have already gotten serious between the two, with Turner even admitting that marriage is a possibility. “I don’t know that either of us necessarily would be looking to get married, but we’ve also said that’s not off the table,” he told People. “We’ve come to the comfortable agreement that we both want a long-term, committed, permanent relationship. [We feel like] we’re in that now.”
Both Turner and Sutton have children from previous relationships. He was married to his wife, Toni, for 43 years before she died in 2017. Sutton is divorced.
Meanwhile, Turner ended his marriage to his Golden Bachelor pick, Theresa Nist, in April 2024. The two were only married for three months before they called it quits. Nist recently teased that she’s started dating someone, as well, although she didn’t give specific details since the potential relationship is still new.
