Todd Chrisley Makes NSFW Joke About First Night With Julie After Prison Release

Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley spent more than two years apart when they were serving their respective prison sentences for fraud and tax evasion from January 2023 to May 2025. After being pardoned by president Donald Trump, they reunited at home in Nashville, and are now opening up about their first night back together.
The couple appeared on daughter Savannah Chrisley‘s Unlocked podcast on Tuesday, July 8, and also addressed rumors that they’re getting divorced.
“The first night together, I was so grateful to just to be able to get in the bed with her,” Todd admitted. “And I think you said it best, there was no awkwardness. There was no, like, ‘What are we supposed to be doing?’ Was none of that.”
Julie added that she and her husband “kinda just fell back into our routine,” leading Todd to joke, “I mean, we got back in our routine. I mean, she got on top.” Julie made sure to shut that down real quick. “He is such a liar,” she jumped in. “Please cut that out.”
But Julie was also the one to shut down the divorce rumors. “Let me set the record straight,” she said. “We are not getting divorced. I actually think that we settled back in fairly easily.”
With Todd serving his sentence in Florida and Julie in Kentucky, the two were separated by physical distance, but Todd admitted he never felt “away” from his wife. “I would tell her in the emails every day,” he said. “I said, ‘I’m with you every step you take.’ And I’d say, ‘And feel my love surrounding you at all times.’ So when I went to bed at night, she was right there with me. When I woke up and I did my prayers, she was right there with me. And that’s how I survived it.”
They also both agreed that they never had any thoughts of separating, which Julie said “allowed us to really just come back together.”
