‘Today’ Host Dylan Dreyer & Husband Brian Fichera Announce Shocking Split
Today meteorologist Dylan Dreyer and her husband, Brian Fichera, are calling it quits. Dreyer announced her split from Fichera on July 18.
The 43-year-old released a statement to the public. The morning show personality, who is also a cohost of Today’s third hour, and Fichera had been married for almost 13 years. They tied the knot in October 2012.
“For many years I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows. The ups and downs. And all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” she wrote on Instagram. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”
She continued, “We began as friends, and we will continue to coparent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another. Thank you as always for your support.” Dreyer did not address her split on the July 18 edition of Today.

Dreyer and Fichera welcomed their first child, son Calvin, in 2016. They added two more sons, Oliver and Russell, in 2020 and 2021.
Back in 2022, Dreyer stepped away from Weekend Today to focus on her family. “It’s all about family time,” she explained. “These boys are my whole life, and Brian and I, we love being a team on weekends and spending as much time as we can with them and having as much fun as we can.”
In June, some fans expressed concern about Dreyer’s marriage when she posted a Father’s Day tribute about her dad and didn’t include Fichera. However, she later shared a separate Father’s Day tribute about Fichera.
In October 2024, Dreyer penned a heartfelt message in honor of her 12th anniversary. She wrote, “12 years of marriage and I’m still in my happy place. Sitting on the couch with @fishlense After I took this picture, Brian pointed out that I posted the same thing 2 years ago! Not much has changed and I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you Bri!!”
