’90 Day Fiancé’s Jasmine Pineda Addresses ‘Traumatizing’ Split From Gino Palazzolo

Not every 90 Day Fiancé marriage ends with a happily ever after.
At this point, Jasmine Pineda and Gino Palazzolo are seasoned 90 Day Fiancé veterans, so watching them agree to officially split after almost five years together on the July 20 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? was a franchise twist that no one saw coming.
Now that fans have finally been let in on the secret of their separation, Jasmine is speaking out, ready to tell her side of the story. On July 21, Jasmine posted a selfie on Instagram, featuring puffy eyes and a red nose to emphasize that she has been crying.
“I cried so much after watching last night’s episode,” the 90 Day Fiancé star revealed. “Seeing it all play out brought back every feeling… The fear, the humiliation, the heartbreak. To lose everything overnight… to be homeless… to be called a liar and a cheater when all I ever gave was love…and then to be abandoned by the one person who promised to protect me, that broke something inside me. I can’t explain the pain of being left alone in the darkest moment of your life, with everyone watching and judging. It was traumatizing. It changed me forever.”

During the episode, which was filmed back in 2024, Jasmine received an email from Gino telling her to meet him in a park. Hoping to resolve their differences, Jasmine agreed to meet with Gino and discuss their open marriage. She told the camera, “I might sleep in my house tonight, with my husband. And everything is going to go back to [the] us we were at the beginning when we got married.”
Unfortunately for the 90 Day star, the real reason that Gino decided to meet up was to return her clothes and coffeemaker. At the park, the couple rehashed Gino’s trip to Las Vegas from the previous episode, which he spent with Natalie, a woman who Jasmine knew looked eerily similar to her.
In what he believed to be a major “gotcha” moment, Gino told Jasmine, “Even after we agreed to [an open marriage], you broke the rules by going to hang out with Matt [Branistareanu] for eight hours a day.” While Jasmine maintained that the time she spent with Matt before she and Gino had an open marriage was at the gym, Gino revealed, “I recently found out that you were cheating on me with him four months before I agreed to open marriage.”
According to Gino, Jasmine’s phone records were all he needed to catch her in the alleged lie. Even so, Jasmine blamed her consistent calls to Matt on her need to ask for rides to and from the gym because Gino refused to drive her. Gino then dropped the biggest bombshell of the season so far: “I want a divorce.”
Reflecting on their breakup, Jasmine told her followers, “But here I am. I survived. I picked up the pieces when no one thought I could, and I’ve learned that even in the deepest pain, there is strength.” She added, “Even in betrayal, there is growth. My story didn’t end there: it started a new chapter. And I promise myself, I’ll never let that broken version of me define who I am becoming 💔✨”
Before any fans could question the timeline of their split, Jasmine was sure to squash any rumors by adding, “This happened way before I conceived my daughter [with Matt]. By the time it happened, Gino and I were done with our marriage and [no] longer part of an open marriage, as you will see in upcoming episodes.”
