It’s been nearly two years since Jonathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel got engaged, but wedding plans are still on the back burner for the couple. However, in an interview with Swooon, Jonathan revealed one thing he’s sure of about the big day.

The HGTV star’s twin brother, Drew Scott, televised his wedding to Linda Phan when they tied the knot in 2018. It aired in a TLC wedding special called Drew and Linda Say I Do. But would Jonathan and Zooey do the same?

“Not a chance!” Jonathan confirmed while promoting the brothers’ new show Chasing the West, which he described as “so fresh and so different” from anything he and his brother have ever done before.

Jonathan and Zooey started dating in 2019 after meeting on Carpool Karaoke. They filmed the show with their siblings and hit it off amid Zooey’s separation from Jacob Pechenik. The exes married in 2015, had two children, and finalized their divorce in June 2020.

Prior to her marriage to Jacob, Zooey tied the knot with Ben Gibbard in 2009. However, they announced their separation in May 2011, and the actress filed for divorce later that year. Their divorce was finalized in December 2012.

Jonathan has also been married before. He wed Kelsy Ully in 2007. They moved to Las Vegas and separated in 2010. Following the split, he dated Jacinta Kuznetsov from 2016 to 2018.

Aside from wedding planning, Jonathan has been keeping busy working with his brother. In addition to Chasing the West, they’re also currently airing new episodes of Celebrity IOU, and will debut a new season of Don’t Hate Your House later this year.

“It is a lot, it definitely is,” Drew admitted. “We’re just really good. We’ve been doing this for so long, so we’re good at layering our schedules in a way that can maximize what we bring.” Jonathan added, “Another thing, too, which has always benefited our homeowners, is we produce so many shows, and shows we’re not in, as well. We produce a lot of other shows. We can kind of amortize some of those costs to create high-quality shows across everything, so that we can actually deliver content at a higher quality and better cost than anybody else.”
