- Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen are a couple that emerged from Love Island USA Season 7.
- They’ve been in a relationship since they left the villa in July 2025.
- In November 2025, there was speculation of relationship troubles, and an update came a month later.
Love Island USA Season 7 may be over, but we’re still keeping tabs on all of the couples that left the villa together, including Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen. Now, we have an unexpected person to thank for the latest update on their relationship: North West.
It’s the Love Island–Kardashians crossover we never knew we needed. Though Olandria herself was not in attendance at Kim Kardashian‘s “Kimsmas” party this holiday season, Nic appeared in a “sexy Santa” getup. When Kim called her daughter to chat with the Love Island star, North wasted no time asking the question on every Nicolandria fan’s mind: “Did you break up with Olandria?”
In November, some fans began speculating that the couple was no longer together, citing alleged relationship troubles. A few weeks later, Kim posted the video of the exchange between her daughter and Nic, confirming the relationship status of the reality couple. Find out everything we know about Nic and Olandria’s post-villa romance below.
Are Nic and Olandria still together?
Rest easy, Nicolandria nation. “No, I didn’t,” Nic said in response to North’s line of questioning on December 5. “It’s Nicolandria for L.”
That’ll be a relief for those who’ve been rooting for the couple since their season aired. Those still in Love Island USA Season 7 trenches like us might recall that rumors began circulating in November 2025. The supposed drama isn’t exactly clear, but it seems to have started when a TikTok user claimed that she spotted Nic at a strip club. Again, nothing has been confirmed to be true. Per Nic’s latest update, Nicolandria is still going strong.
The duo didn’t end the show in an exclusive relationship, and when Swooon last caught up with them in July, the second-place couple were in a good spot and looking forward to the future. Several weeks later, the two appeared to confirm that they’ve made their relationship official, and they’ve continued to make public outings together and appear on each other’s social media ever since.
In a September TikTok video, for one, the couple participated in the “better be nice” social media trend, promoting the probiotic water brand Agua de Kefir. “My boyfriends gonna show you his favorite drink, and you better be nice,” Olandria says. (Naturally, fans immediately called out her word choice in the comments section.)
A couple of days later, the duo attended the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, though they didn’t walk the red carpet together. Nic stopped for an interview with Complex, who asked whether or not Olandria really meant it when she called Nic her boyfriend. Nic left it in the hands of his Love Island USA partner: “She can confirm it when she comes down here in 20 minutes,” he said, smiling at the camera. “I can neither confirm nor deny.”

Before Kim’s party, the latest update arrived on November 1, just ahead of Nic running the New York City Marathon. Olandria was planning on flying out to cheer him on at the finish line. He didn’t give specifics about their relationship to Today, but he did talk about what it’s been like for them post-show: “I feel like it’s been a year in the last four months with the way that things are going. You get maybe like one breather a week, so taking those breathers a week is helpful, and that’s I guess the way that I stay present.”

What have Nic and Olandria said about their relationship after the show?
The couple opened up about their budding romance in an interview with Us Weekly in July. “Our relationship is something that [Olandria and I] haven’t labeled yet,” Nic explained. “We’re just taking our time and investing in the real world and enjoying each other’s company.”
Olandria was also a guest on the July 22 episode of Keke Palmer‘s podcast, and they discussed how things have been going between her and Nic. “The conversation is still the same,” Olandria said. “We wanna continue to go at the pace we’re going. We had a conversation yesterday. I was like, ‘Bro, I’m feeling a lot of pressure from the media. Ya know what I mean?’ [Nic] was like, ‘I think we should continue to go at the pace we’re going. It’s no reason for us to jump ship.'”
They echoed their earlier statements when they appeared during the reunion, which was filmed on August 12.
